as someone who works in a pretty fancy restaurant where we occasionally take away unused plates, the plates _are_ actually just in case plates. But generally we'll only take them if you don't get a 1st course and only get a main course. Since you won't need a small plate for that.

I want to thank you both for putting these videos up. I recently lost my youngest brother to depression and it came out of the blue it feels like and watching you to interact about almost nothing and having fun reminds me of the good times with Michael and while that hurts a lot it is a good hurt. I know I will never see him again but at least we loved each other. I know a lot of people who can't even say that much. Once again thank you for helping me remember the good times.

I just recently found vlog brothers, like within the past 25 minutes, and I'm amazed, and intrigued--mainly jealous. I started watching crash course about a month and a half ago, when my eng 101 professor played your video on Reconstruction, from your US History playlist--this is how I was led to your content. I'm really enjoying the format of these vlogs. As a boy with no brother, the point/alter-point method, infused with love and care, makes for a wonderful experience for viewers like me. I,m a 26 year old college freshman, planning to transfer to a competitive 4-year institution, and the youtube format crash course thrives in, has become a fantastic alternative to traditional programming in my opinion. (i.e. television, radio). As I pursue my education, I feel flooded with information from new resources, along with the muddied, constant, input from society's unavoidable stigmas and attachments, that are apparent any time I turn on the tube. Thank you for creating intelligent content that doest take its self to seriously, and thank you for being so open minded in relation to, well...everything. Truly, Jacob
