Quick note but I went on this hike last year in July of 2023 but the tips mentioned in this video include the new restrictions that came out in 2024 as well!

Is there a reason your friend couldn't fly back with the hiking stick and had to mail it back ?

Hello, can I wear Brooks walking shoes? They have 2 inch heels and are very comfortable. My hiking shoes are tight. Thank you.

If they have good enough grip so that you won't slip on the tiny rocks as you walk down hill then they should be fine! But another thing to note is that you don't want shoes that are too low rise because when walking down hill those tiny rocks tend to constantly slip into your shoe if at ankle length and are a real pain to take out every step (you can also just buy shoe gaiters though)

As someone who was born and raised 39ft above sea level; it’s a no for me but glad I can see it vicariously through youtubers 🫡🖤
