Due to the My Car Restriction, we need to use the shuttle to the 5th Station. The shuttle time was limited (the last one is at 6:30 P.M.) Not to mention the thin air because of the elevation. Your hike was very impressive, especially since you're not a hiker. Take a long break from hiking!!!

Aloha Rion! I enjoy your videos so much, I watched most of your recent ones and now am watching older ones. Congrats on climbing Fujisan! I’m glad you made it and didn’t give up. I can understand your emotions. I did the climb with a couple friends after we made 50 years old. I am in the US military on fighter jet qualified flight status and very fit for my age (at sea level). It’s very different at high altitude when there is less oxygen. Some people are more sensitive than others no matter what their fitness level is. You were definitely feeling the effects of low oxygen (hypoxia). I did too but pushed through it and made it like you. My legs were sore for a few days after and had trouble descending stairs in the subway. 😅 I had to hold on to the railings. Maybe I should have stayed at onsen with ice bath for a couple days after. I heard a proverb about climbing Fujisan and agree. Crossed that off my “bucket list”! “A WISE MAN CLIMBS MT. FUJI ONCE, ONLY A FOOL CLIMBS IT TWICE.” 一度も登らぬ馬鹿、二度登る馬鹿 Congrats again and Mahalo for all your hard work and great videos!

thank you Rion for making the day trip to Fujisan and doing a video. My huge congratulations for conquering the walk to the top of Fujisan! Not many had done so but you did, although it had been very tiring. Thank you for doing it for your fans and Fujisan audience. I had only travelled to station 5 so far and that's it. I don't think I make the trip up like you did. So thankful that you did it with great joys and vigor! I do hope you are feeling much better from the fever and have plenty of rest and hydrate well. Congrats on climbing Fujisan! I’m glad you made it and didn’t give up. I can understand your emotions.
I did the climb with a couple friends after we made 50 years old. I am in the US military on fighter jet qualified flight status and very fit for my age (at sea level). It’s very different at high altitude when there is less oxygen. Some people are more sensitive than others no matter what their fitness level is.
You were definitely feeling the effects of low oxygen (hypoxia). I did too but pushed through it and made it like you. My legs were sore for a few days after and had trouble descending stairs in the subway. 😅 I had to hold on to the railings. Maybe I should have stayed at onsen with ice bath for a couple days after.
I heard a proverb about climbing Fujisan and agree. Crossed that off my “bucket list”!
