and I I have, if not planned them all . 1. planning to have a mini clock, to check time before leaving and upon arrival. 2. a mirror, will stop my husband from asking if he is fine before going out. 3. currently have beams, for at night. 5. mom gave me a plant w small spike, for luck as she said, now sitting next to the front door. 6. umbrellas, for convenience. 7. shoes! of course. 8. hidden knife, just in case. 9. the washing machine, we have no where to place. 10. black rug.

Oh, shoes and umbrellas can be stored in an entry closet, but mirrors, are as integral in an entry/hallway as a door mat.

It would be lovely if you could suggest what can be done instead. For example you can’t do much about sharp edges if they are the fabric of the house, can you reduce the effect in any way? Thank you for the information though 🙏😀
Cover sharp edges with felt cloth.
Place a smiling family photo framed on wall space to see whileentering .
Can place natural colourful flowers on wall mounted vase.

Acceptance is also important....Traditionally, bringing awareness and creating practices such as mindfulness meditation allows for space and time to equally balance and synchronize....In addition, it could also be helpful to create signs or posts to inform an understanding of certain objects or areas. For example, a felt or blanket or towel or table cloth covering a sharp edge versus a clear or translucent or see through fabric/lace tablecloth could help to temporarily or permanently create great options..
I love a mirror in the hallway. Hallway looks awful without a mirror.
This conflicts with other advice which I've read, which advocates placing a mirror on left side wall before the door, to reflect light around and make hall look bigger. It is practical, in order to check your hat and coat and appearance before you leave.

I use wind chimes to know if someone is at the house I love plants was going to put plants in the hall way and was going to make it a jacket and purse area .. there is shoes in the hallway it also can almost break necks when people fall over them..
Windchime I like inside the house I can hear someone going my direction especially if noone is home..

Sorry, but you rarely have any say on how the house was built. If the builder put a beam in the hallway, you may not be able to remove it. Same with wall corners. This is the same for the channels that say your sink and stove cannot line up. If the kitchen was built that way, you don't have much choice. I don't have a hallway into my flat. The door opens into the dining area. I can't change that. Over all I find this interesting, but since no two feng shui channels say the same things, I'll take this with many grains of salt. :-)

I've broken 5-6 of these rules and would like a remedy bc I live in a small home.
How about if right when you enter the house you see a golden wall (the wall facing the main door painted in gold), can that too cause financial loss, since I guess the gold color represents $, just like the fish aquarium should not be facing the main door?? I hope u truly know the answer I'm looking for...

If you step in to a small lobby then a door opens to the main hall.. do your steps need to be followed for the lobby or hall ?

It is confusing - hallway is like a long corridor but entrance to the house is not a hallway , most of the houses have entrance and then could be a hallway or not depend an the layout of the house or apart.

I agree. Most homes have a foyer or something similar that isn't a hallway. My flat opens into the dining area. No hallway, no foyer.
Hello thank you for your wonderful videos , My entrance door is in the south area is and I put a picture of a rearing white horse ( if you open the door you can first see the horse picture in front wall accent the door , you said in your other video bright color flowers is good in front door hut since my entrance front door and hallway is in the south direction the horse picture there .Do you think this is good ? or should I place it a flower instead of a white rearing horse picture?

Hi! You need to be very careful about wind chime / mirror placement. It's not very suitable to place it in the middle. I will create a video on wind chime placement soon!

I have a floor large Chinese vase that is almost 4 feet high. I placed it in the corner in the right when you enter the door. Is that ok or should I move it elsewhere, If I need to move it, can I place in the top of the stairs where you can see if from downstairs? My stairs is not the one that is just one straight stairs. It is that kind that is like few steps going upstairs then you turn left going upstair. Not sure if I describe it correctly. Its like this _! . Thanks.
Hello. If your house is very big, then there is no problem placing a large vase in the corner of your foyer. Whether an object is considered large/heavy is relative to the area of your living space. Another option is to place it in your living room. I wouldn’t recommend top of the staircase.
I hang a few wooden wind chimes near the windows on my right when i open my front door.Should o remove them?

I have a large entry with glass door and two windows on the western wall of the area. Is it ok to put a mirror on the easterly wall if it doesn’t face the door but faces the windows? So much to learn!

It’s better not to place a mirror inside the bedroom. If you really want to place a mirror, make sure it is not facing the bed or the door. Also try to cover it with a piece of cloth.
