Rudy has really blossomed since he went out on his own. I never did like it when he was denigrated with a 'Rud-eeee' quip if something went wrong. He has a great positive attitude and nothing fazes him when things go south. He is always looking for new ways to do something.
I watch most, if not all of Rudy's videos. Probably all. He really added something to MORR, but I can't blame him for doing his own thing. And he did mention his bosses name, at least his Hurst name, when his boss had to pull him out of a ditch once upon a time.
The rudycon was way longer than a few months it's been a working project for a few yrs lol plus he's worth alot more than 100k its closer to 800k.. but love your vids..
I watch Rudy and all of the Matt spinoffs for the same reason I watch the Three Stooges. They are all Keystone Cops comedy of errors. They just throw money and resources at junk, and junk is all they get out of it. If any of them ever had a project come out right, I'd stop watching from shock.
I've never seen many successful projects completed by Rudy. Mostly nicely engineered stuff, but poorly executed in the pre fabrication, and build stages. Too many patch jobs, not enough quality, on the trail or road. Excell welder, though...
