Thanks, especially for the info on the glass sphericals and fish bones that indicate that the impact was in Spring in the northern hemisphere (0:26). Fascinating. I appreciate your summaries.
Ezekiel, fantastic job and some truly remarkable finds from mass extinctions to mammal evolution and much more. Thanks, and never apologize for being in the field, as that's where the action is and starts everything else!
Wow! This is my first time watching one of your monthly reviews and this is absolutely incredible!! I'm super interested in paleontology but for the common person staying up to date the latest research is really difficult, with most my information coming from general video essays about the evolution and morphology of animals. Being able to follow new findings in real time is so cool! Thank you so much for taking the time to synthesize this information and deliver it in a concise and easy to understand format!!
Just saying but if anyone is wondering what the Scottish Gaelic words that make up Dearc sgiathanach means the word Dearc means reptile and the second word sgiathanach means winged and it appears in the Gaelic name for the isle of Skye and the Gaelic name for the isle of Skye is often interpreted as meaning “ The Winged Island”.
Have you considered making a video on the tanis documentary? I found it Super fascinating but also I am a living animals person with no real direct expertise in paleontogy, and knowing it's mostly about unpublished material, I would be interested to hear working paleontologists thoughts on The documentary.
... When Paleontology became more international. As I am not a fan of the current languages being used for binomial nomenclature. I don't want another Thanossaur or Han Solo. It doesn't tell you what it is about or is even showing relations to Romance, Greek, or Germanic Languages. Fukuinator was a weird hybrid, but atleast it told you something about the name, from the Fukui prefecture. Though it needs to be written with Kanji to make more sense as I don't want to mistaken " again " or " redo " for another word.

Hi Thanks for sharing my video!😊
Thank you for posting the link. That is a great video.
I love the person running from the pterosaur with the tie flying up ~ 10:58.
It is a great way to show the size lol
Yes, but it might confuse the Young Earth Creationists. ;-)

Thank you for doing these.

Thanks! And that's what I try to do, especially since so much research isn't just on big famous animals.
Personally my favorite discovery from Feb was the Spinosauriod discovery but every discovery of Feb was pretty radical
:3 also Great video
Welcome back- missed your vids
Great channel 👍🏼
Thanks! Yeah, we've had a lot going on
glad you're back, I like the monthly update to ahve an overview of what happened during 1 month and get spiecies who won't appear in documentaries
Yeah, it's good to be back. Just a matter of catching up now, lots of time away doing stuff in the field, and then trying to catch up for my classes.

Thanks for the vid!
You're welcome!
Better late than never.
We're getting all caught up, so it will be all done eventually. Just maybe not quickly til after finals.
Abditosaurus is a new Titanosaur.
Worth the wait!
Thanks!
@@RaptorChatter You're very welcome 🌸
WHOA! I love opabiniids and I live in Utah! And it has a Cambrian Thagomizer! I dig it.
Yeah, there's been a lot of stuff coming out of the Cambrian of NV & Utah recently. Now we just need to find the fancy preservation in AZ!
So what do you have for March?
Also, April's almost done for this year. What do you have in store for it?

I haven't been able to see it yet, and I don't have the time right now with finals coming up. So I may in May once I'm done with classes for a bit.
When did it become acceptable to use a current language in binomial nomenclature?

So, _Opisthops grypheas_ from the Wheeler shale is still not recognized as an opabiniid?
I cannot find any record of that animal that has been published.
@@RaptorChatter If nothing has been published on it, that is a good reason.
"finally!"
Yeah, it's been a while sorry
