Once again old Countess Vivian comes through. Also the dam of the legendary Meadow Skipper. The legend of thee immortal Countess Vivian continues!! Biography: Foaled in 1950 by King's Counsel-Filly Direct, Countess Vivian was owned by Christy Hayes of Columbus, Ohio. It was as a three-year-old that she took her 1:59 mark. Later, Countess Vivian produced many good performers, including world champions Meadow Skipper 1:55.1, Countess Adios 1:57.3 and Tarport Count 1:59.3. Meadow Skipper went on to become one of the sport's all-time great sires.
What a drive by Randy Waples! Looks like he and McIntosh had a simple plan. Waples and Thinking Out Loud executed it with perfection! To defeat in this manner great horses like Sweet Lou and Warawee Needy (and their great drivers)...well... you have to do everything 100% at the right moment. Very impressive!
