You're right about the color combo. It was Dick Landy, his brother, and Denis LaBonge that originally did this car. Originally a northern California car, about 70k miles but was done up by dick Landy and his brother in Los Angeles and sold to a prominent family in the area... LeBonge. I believe his brother was an LA city council member. If you google lebonge satellite thunderbird you will probably find a Petersen magazine article about the car Jay Leno mentions LeBonge in his imperial parade phantom limo on his garage web series
