Kolintang comes from Minahasan culture in North Sulawesi, a province in Indonesia. This musical instrument is very melodious and dynamic. This musical instrument is usually played in an ensemble.

as for Angklung ... basically, it's played by shaking the instrument, and one instrument produces one cord/note ... so in order to produce a music/song, they have to harmonize the sounds of many Angklungs with different cord
That's why the video said this instrument can train students to coordinate well with others, take responsible of cord they use, and also concentrate when they have to shake/not shake it

I was part of an angklung ensemble yeaaaars ago when I was in kindergarten (😂). Can't really say I play it bc well... you see it when you read on.
Not sure if the instrument has undergone a huge transformation, but back then each angklung was a single note so as a member of the ensemble your job is to remember your place in the song and shake it accordingly.
As toddler me and everyone else only operated a single angklung, but I suppose pros like the ones in the Bohemian Rhapsody can handle multiple angklungs.

Yes that right! Angklung is from West Java . It is Sundanese culture. Indonesia.It is not from Malaysia at all.
Ah I remember in elementary school when we learn angkkung it was fun. It's usually 7 kids playing as one angklung only play one note, so each kid must remember their turn to shake their angklung. I guess that's why the narrator there talking about improving cooperation etc (but yeah equal rights? and other things he said don't make sense lol).
My favorit song of angklung instrument is Santorini by Yanni. I heard it in high school. That was amazing.
