Indonesia is a diverse cultures country. We don't describe our country is Bali culture or Java culture or specific culture, but we all describe our country as a country full of diverse culture in that. Like our national motto, "Bhinneka Tunggal Ika" which means "Unity in Diversity"🇮🇩
You guys should check out "Nadine Amizah" she's like Indonesian Lana Del Rey, she has vintage style of Indonesian music (her song: Kala Sang Surya Tenggelam & Rayuan Perempuan Gila). Also check out keroncong (traditional Javanese music) song like "Bengawan Solo".

They are Javanese artists that i really love. You can check their channels. I really enjoy all your videos, not just about Indonesia. But after all of the videos about Indonesia, i hope you guys come visit and start your journey to experience yourself the culture and Indonesia traditional art, music, dance, theater, or the historical building and traditional food. Yes, this is Indonesia. There are still many traditional dances that have not been performed and they are very beautiful. Indonesia very often takes part in international arts competitions (Dance and Choir) and we usually win them. Thank God.
Indonesia is very rich in culture. So we will not recognize the culture of other countries and disturb the culture of other countries. We will not have difficulty finding traditional Indonesian dances or songs that we will perform during arts performances at school or at any event. Indonesia does have many regions with their respective regional cultures and languages. But we are united by one unified language and our national language, namely BAHASA INDONESIA (INDONESIAN). Everyone from Sabang (the other end of Indonesia) to Merauke (the other end of Indonesia) speaks Indonesian. All ethnic groups, including Indonesian Chinese, are also fluent in Indonesian.
FYI, if you are curious to meet most of cultural building and dances of Indonesia, you should go to Jakarta and go to place called TMII (Taman Mini Idonesia Indah), there are you want to see there.

That dance is just a part of Indonesia, and there are too many traditional dances in Indonesia to be enough for one video.

I can drive to the other district and I cannot understand the local language 😅 that's so true and it's really what happened in my city in Indonesia. Only by crossing the bridge, I immediately don't understand a single thing they said over there. Just in my province alone, we have more than 2 local languages.
I'm a Lumajangese Javanese and feel like alien when i move to Jember, cause they speak Madurese 😭

and the extrem part is the languages, even there are few village that only 5 or 10 km away to another village that has different languages. some of them different dialects, but there also some of them with totally different language

Your observation in the beginning of video is so true, we don't need to go far to experience quite different cultures in Indonesia. In my case, I live in Depok, a small city in West Java with Sundanese culture, but everyday I commute to Jakarta with its distinct Betawi's culture. Two very different cultures (different local language, different music, different dance, difference cuisine) just 20 km (12.5 miles) apart.

Yes that's the world we live in but not many can afford to go to such places, you have to be rich rich to go there since it cost millions just to be there if you are from different island, it depends where you live in but the access to be there are very hard so it will cost a lot of money, some people prefer go to Thailand/Singapore for vacation since the transportation are so much cheaper.
We all want to supports our treasure but we can even afford it to do it
