Thanks so much for the message and I'm so glad to hear that it was very helpful for you! :) That's great that you're beginning CARs work! If it helps you, I have a full body follow-along tutorial for CARs here: th-cam.com/video/z7C72ZrkUDI/w-d-xo.html You'll also find a CARs playlist on my channel with more detailed tutorials for every single joint and videos speaking to the "why" and "how" behind CARs. Take care! :)
I greatly appreciate the time, effort and delivery of this explaination. It may appear to be a simple explaination yet I know a lot of work went into this presentation. As always, Live with Power and Love with Grace
Thank you for your explanations. I have been learning from other Kinstrech trainers, but I still find myself struggling to understand all the concepts. Your videos bring me more understanding ❤
I'm so glad to hear that my videos are offering you some understanding! It can be a confusing area to navigate when you're just learning! Thanks so much for the message! :)
This is valuable to know! I shared this with some clients I have who are using antacids and Rx for stomach acid. Im intrigued to try this text myself, just to see what happens! Thank you for a great explanation & instructions!
You said there was a big component of self-assessment and education in kinstretch. Are kinstretch (or functional mobility focused) programs always so info-heavy? I love info, education and data, but even for me, I find the programs (I've tried 2 different ones, not 'kinstretch', excellent but...) quite overwhelming in their cueing and information. Week 1 just turns me off. Maybe it's because I'm 'deep' into knowledge-building and practicals of 2 other physical activities (climbing and martial arts) and I just want something between a follow along and a 'teaching' session for my mobility work.
Hi Jennifer! Thanks for the questions! I’m sure you’re not the only one wondering these things! In terms of Kinstretch having a self-assessment and plenty of education/information built into it - the answer is largely yes. The reason for this is that when you go get certified and trained in “Kinstretch” you must gain an understanding of what makes Kinstretch unique. Two of the foundational pillars of Kinstretch and what make it unique are exactly those pieces: self assessment and education. Without those, it can be argued that you are no longer actually providing “Kinstretch” and rather you’re just doing a “mobility class”. Does that make sense? ***That being said***, and I can only speak to my own program as I cannot speak for my colleagues, programs like mine will include the information and self-assessment elements both because that “IS” Kinstretch but also because many people out there have slightly different needs and desires and they actually want more information and guidance or to learn where their limitations are so they know which classes to choose. So, to meet the needs of yourself and people in your shoes that do not want to do the self assessment or go through all of the information and who just want to do a class, and to meet the needs of the others that DO want those things, I put those sections into the subscription and recommend that people do them but also acknowledge that I know some people are just going to join and skip those sections and start doing random classes and that is fine as well. If we were to not include those sections at all, we’d leave the many people that want those things totally hanging! If someone both doesn’t want that info and is also easily overwhelmed I usually recommend that they choose one joint they want to work on, and pick one or two classes for that joint and focus their attention there for a month or so and simply ignore the rest. I hope that helps and makes sense! :)
I think as with any profession there are great and not so great practitioners. My favorite chiropractors are those who perform adjustments only when it is actually indicated and who both do work with the client and send the client home with something that helps to keep them from needing to come back for future adjustments :).
Thanks for the message and question :). Yes, one of the benefits of Kinstretch is absolutely improved flexibility. With Kinstretch we work on both flexibility (passive range of motion) and mobility (active range of motion). Meaning, it is a combination of acquiring more range of motion where it is needed (in your case, getting deeper into the splits) and then also making you stronger and building tissue capacity/resilience in those positions so that not only can you access them, but you're also strong and not vulnerable in those positions. I've got Kinstretch classes for both the movements and joints required for the splits (hip abduction for example) as well as classes specifically for the splits on my online platform. You can check it out or learn more here: operationhumanfirst.com/
So PAIL and RAIL’s are part of Kinstretch? I am also confused is Eccentric and Isometric is PAILs and RAILS? Thank you! Your videos have opened me to a whole new world ❤
PAILs and RAILs are a part of Kinstretch, yes! It looks like you found my video on this afterwards so I won't link it here :). PAILs and RAIls are not eccentric as we are stationary, however they are indeed isometrics! You're so welcome and I'm so glad that the videos are shedding some light on some new things for you! Thanks for the message!❤
I wouldn’t go as far as sayings that it is “all about who is teaching”. The two practices themselves are rather different. That said, the classes in each practice do vary significantly based on the instructor, yes. Thanks for the message!
First off - great idea in comparing the two!
And in second... great insight. I took a lot from that. THANK YOU!
Thank you very much for the message and I'm so glad it was helpful!! 🤗
Wow - I am just beginning CARs class (Kin stretch sort of rolled in ) …. this was very helpful and informative thank you

What is your opinion on chiropractic therapy?

is Kinstretch able to make me more flexible? Cause I've always had trouble stretching my legs in splits, especially in the knee area
