Cormac, Caitlin, Martin Hayes, and Kevin Burke were indispensable during COVID. I often dive into music to escape the harshness of life, so I thank you, Cormac, for your wonderful musical honesty. I love how traditional your approach is, it really feels like a bridge to the past, where we know the Irish people suffered tremendously due to poverty, oppression, and the devastation of diseases. These tunes are evidence of a wonderful lightness and joy in living, that survived even the darkest hours of Irish history. Let's keep those traditions alive, lest we grow over-confident once more and forget our roots.
