interesting but not true spirographs.. the true ones are one continuous line not repeated parts. the one continuous line spirographs are more useful for embroidery and quilting (specially by machine). how would you go about making them?
actually the digitizers eventually turn it into vector.. but it's often easier to process a clean raster vs a node heavy vector (from someone that didn't clean the vectors up) try to think of embroidery in this instance as one continuous line rather than separate ellipses --- like the kids toy on the 60s did. one pen line for the needle to follow start to finish rather than stitching individual units.
