You missed one collosal tip with Heavy that greatly affects his sniper matchup. If you look slightly to your right and call Medic, the heavy will put his big hand in front of his face, momentarlly removing his head hitbox since the hand hitbox is covering it. I've used this to great effect vs good/god snipers, and even aimbots. And once you've done it to the same sniper a few times, they tend to be more hesitant about headshotting you.

Also, I would give an extra tip: watch your ammunition. Ammo runs out on minigun rather quickly than you would expect.

Some people might say that the Heavy versus Heavy is really boring, probably more boring than Pyro versus Pyro. However if you consider the requirements the Heavy needs to outdamage his opponent and win the deathmatch, there are several things you, as a Heavy player, should keep an eye on.
For example, usually wins the Heavy, who spins up faster, has more health or has a ground advantage. If the enemy Heavy has a stronger source of healing nearby, he will mow you down unless he's totally unaware of what's happening. Tomislav wins at longer range, the Stock Minigun wins at short/medium range. Brass Beast, if spinned in time, almost always wins.
Belive or not, enemy Heavies are often your largest threats on the battlefield, depending on which gun you're using and whether you have healing at your disposal or not, you will be at an advantage or disadvantage to your counterpart.

I see numerous players not ambushing with the Tomislav and it kinda feels like stock, just with a tighter spread,accurate pellets and a silent spin up sound.
But hey, I'm not a Heavy main but i use stock more because I just can't aim perfectly with the Tomislav.
P-pyro also need to outdamage the other pyro, 1 might have full phlog or backburner, and one might have their mouse 2..
i honestly feel when the heavy update comes out, on the first day everyone will go heavy, then the second day everyone will go sniper and spy realizing the f r a g potential and there will be 2 heavies

And holy crap I only just realized that tf2 is a balanced game where mixing up classes is the best way to win.
I have 1,5k hours on tf2 and this vid still helped me.

Heavy is one of those classes that has major weaknesses and your enemies will do whatever it takes to use that to their advantage. But heavies also have incredible strengths. So if you manage to work around your short comings you’ll become nigh unstoppable.

Alright one tip which is pretty useful is with the holiday punch. If the enemy team pops Uber, you can nullify it by making the medic or his target laugh. Either punch their backs, or, if your team has a kritzkrieg, you pop kritz and stop it that way.
Nearly every time I attack a Medic girlfriend-Their boyfriend pair,they pop Uber,stopping me dead in my tracks and the latter kills me with melee. Let's see if they like some of that sweet Schadenfreude taunt!

i disagree with ranking the natascha in b tier. i used it for a while now and it's so damn good. the slowdown makes it much easier to connect bullets and throw people off guard. definitely able to keep up with stock and tomi imo.
Sir Ravemaster I’ve been using Oksana for about a year and a half (brass beasts name is Okasna) and whenever you get the hang of her oooooooohhhhhhhh the move speed and rev downsides are nothing compared to surviving 3 shots from rocket launchers and grenade launcher while doing more damage yourself. Plus oksana eats sentry guns at mid range let alone close range and it lets you win most heavy fights outright as a bonus

Tbh demo is by far the most annoying class in the game. And ppl are complaining that pyro would be "skilless" and "m1+w", even though he is one of the hardest and weakest classes.

Here are a few extra tips:
-You can turn a small health kit into a medium health kit by throwing your sandvitch on the ground (only at full health mind you), and grabbing the small medkit, it'll replenish your sandvitch bar and now you have two medium health kits at your team's disposal.
-If you are healed by a medic, you can see how much health he has, which also means you can see whenever your medic takes damages, if that's the case, you're probably being flanked by a scout/soldier or any mobile class, you should check behind you for 1 or 2 seconds but not more than that because you'll have your back turned to the frontline and you won't be able to see what's coming to you.
-With any minigun other than the tomislav you should avoid revving up your minigun too much, it makes a lot of noise and most soldiers/demo will just spam splash damage in your general direction without even having a line of sight, it also has a tendency to attract spies so be prepared whenever you rev your minigun.
-The fists of steel are a good option if you ever have to cross a sniper sightline with no other alternate routes.
-Look up, seriously many ambushes take into account the fact that the enemy isn't looking above their heads.

As a Hale’s Own Heavy main myself I have a few tips.
1) PRIORITY. Here’s the list of what you should worry about at all times and the order you should take out classes.
1: Engineers/nests. This is your JOB. Kill nests and make sure the Engineer doesn’t scuttle off to make a new one.
2: Spies. Spies will ruin your day, your Medic’s day, your team’s day. If you EVER see a spy, go for them.
3: Medics. Self explanatory, Medics are the lifeblood of a team and killing them sooner rather than later will almost single handedly win the mid-fight.
4: Pyros. Pyros will not only chew through your health like single plied toilet paper, but the flames will go through you and onto your Medic. Kill them quick and stay frosty.
5: Scouts. Quick and easy to kill. Kill them quick and make sure they don’t go for your Medic.
6: Demoman: They will WRECK your team with their stickies and whatever armament they have.
Other Heavies: Not much of a threat to you but to your teammates. If your have a Medic and they don’t it shouldn’t be a chore.
Soldiers: Not much of a threat if you have a Medic. Kill them when you can but there’s more important targets.
Snipers: Don’t try it. Just find a new path that doesn’t have a Sniper.

Weapon bans usually happen when the specific weapon gives an advantage that usually leads to the player of the opposite team having to use the same weapon for the game to stay fair.
Just LOVE how Toofty responds in such a polite manner. This is what I try to scout around the Internet for. Keep it up Toofty!

As a Heavy main, the best advice I can give is this; let them come to you. I know it's not as fun, I love overextending with the Tomislav too, but any decent team will tear you do shreds if you do that, no matter how good you are. I'm not saying don't be aggressive, but try to maintain aggressive holds so your team can follow to back you up, as opposed to trying to push by yourself, even if you have a pocket.
Also, assuming you're using a Sandvich, never pick up health packs if you can avoid it. At least, not for healing, see every pack as a Sandvich recharging station. They do despawn after thirty seconds or if you throw down another one though, so keep that in mind. (I recommend throwing them near dispensers, since people default there for healing).
Best advice is to grab a bottle of vodka, put on the Red Choir and mic spam your best russian laugh while never spinning down your minigun.

but, arent the tips ''keep within your effective range (mid to close) and the tip ''have long sightlines'' a bit contradicting? ^^
I think I said you should have a large FOV which is slightly different than having long sight-lines. You want to be able to cover a lot of ground without moving but that ground should ideally all be medium to short range. Hope that makes sense.
A fun thing to do is to cycle through the miniguns every life (after getting at least one kill with each).
Chocolate is better than sandvich. Recharges faster, helps overcome temporary health loss of gru (agree this is most useful melee) and gives you a health buff that can save you more often than you'd think.
Also, the Huo-long heater is devastating in the right circumstances and better than you gave it credit for, imo. Great for humping the cart and it tight spaces.
What i would like to mention is, that if you use the sandvich, you can eat it, then take a small health pack, and get your sandvich back. it prevents you from waiting for another one, and turns a small healthpack into a medium one.
If you duel another Heavy, trying to juke him is better than crouching. If you're at extrememly close range, crouching rarely ever helps stop damage, because the minigun's spread is tight enough for a smaller hitbox to not matter. At short to medium range, moving unpredictably really helps during a heavy duel. Most of the time while you're focusing another heavy, his team will also be putting damage on you. Most heavies underestimate how quickly you can move while reved, so instead of crouching and tanking the damage, try to juke it. It's saved me countless times, and I see way too many pub heavies trying to crouch.
Toofty, try using the Dalokohs Bar with the gloves of running urgently. It is an awesome combo. Even when you run back to the front line and drop down to 100 health, by the time you finish eating it you are over 300 health. Almost removes the down side entirely.

Okay I found out why crouching as heavy vs. heavy works. The enemy heavy aims at your center of mass so the most bullets would hit you, but when you crouch he's now aiming at your head so some bullets would go over your head.

When the heavy update comes out, several new weapons will be introduced. It will take approximately two years for strange versions of them to come out. Why? Because Valve
As a Heavy main, I'm absolutely terrified about the Heavy Update. Not because I'm worried about what will be added, but because as soon as the team comp is entirely Heavy, my terrible skills will be revealed.
A small addition - If you ever see an enemy Medic with the Quick Fix uber with his buddy, then chances are you can probably defeat that combo on your own. The Minigun outputs so much damage that it can overcome the increased healing of the Quick Fix Uber, rendering it and the medic worthless.
*SPREADSHEET*
*Scout* - Highly unlikely, but will get annoying pretty fast. He's not invincible, but he damn sure feels like it. Good tracking required. If he is not smart, he will run straight at you. If he has any gamesense, he will jump around and close the distance gradually. High level of threat.
*Soldier* - Highly likely, the Soldier is one of the primary targets for an Quick Fix Uber. Though powerful and probably buffed up with 4 rockets, he can withstand about 2 seconds of being fired upon in close range by a lone heavy before collapsing on the floor like his chances of ever joining the army. If he strafes around the corner, go up it out of his sight, and jump out as close as you can. Medium level of threat
*Pyro* - Another quite likely target for 108 hp/s, the Pyro relies on being able to close the distance.... so.. he's toast, just rip him a new stomach while you're at it, there's no way that he can outdamage you and his medic can't outheal your damage from this close up. Low level of threat
*Demoman* - Another viable target for the Quick Fix uber, but this time more dangerous than the Soldier. Soldier can output more damage per rocket, but at a slower rate, and it can be pretty inconsistent. Demo, meanwhile, can output regular, 100-per-nade damage, killing you in 3 shots from a relative safety, as his distance will render your damage null to his buddy's healing. Strafing will be required. If he mainly uses stickies, close the gap, and then revv up. Medium/High level of threat
*Heavy* - That's a juicy one. The Quick-Fix alone gives your opponent an additional 75 health, and ubering will help him mow you, the alone heavy, down rather quickly. If you get caught off-guard by one, be prepared to wipe the floor with your blood as you scramble to your team. If you catch the medic off guard and he pops, try to close the gap between yourself and the Heavy, constantly firing. Medium/High level of threat
*Engineer* - Now this is a tricky one. On his own, Engineer is nothing but a fly that you swat everyday. His sentry guns are threatening, but you can rid him easily if he foolishly decides to rush you with his shotgun... even if it's the Frontier Justice with >3 crits. Now, a pocketed and ubered Texan is still an annoyance, don't get me wrong. His weapon of choice decides if he's even worth what he's claiming to be.
If he's got Stock, Pomson or the Panic Attack, just mow him down, he's no threat.
If he has the Frontier Justice, try to strafe as you set him ablazing, waste his crits on meaningless 70 damage instead of the full blown 180.
The Widowmaker makes it easier for the Engie to continue to pepper you with lead so long as he's hitting you, so he'll want to close the distance to you and that's... well, suicide. Low/medium level of threat
*Medic* - *looks at the camera* why are you gay? Low level of threat
*Sniper* - Well, I was going to say the exact same thing as above, but I remembered that the Huntsman exists. If the medic pops, he will have a window of time just large enough to fully charge the 360 damage arrow and D E S T R O Y you up close. Thanks to the hitbox using the projectile model, you are a ripe toast ready to be taken out, so exercise caution when fighting a Huntsman Sniper. If he's using anything other than that, then his medic is dumb enough to uber a sniper that needs 4 seconds to charge up a headshot strong enough to kill you. Low/Semi-High level of threat
*Spy* - *looks at the camera* Why are you the way you are? His revolvers can do no harm to your 300 magnificience, and his knife, although buggy, will not be able to get a facestab in the 2 seconds he has left staring at you. Dismissed, low level of threat.
Regarding the Heavy Update. If you looked at the recent patch it said updated *Some* Localization files which could mean they translated most or everything needes for the Heavy update. While I could ve wrong it might be a little hidden hint like back in the day.
I main Heavy with the Brass Beast and it makes me feel like a scout when using a normal minigun. I feel like it's the best choice when learn positioning as you have to factor in the slow down effect when playing.

Speaking of crouching, I’ll never forget like 3 weeks ago I was in a discord call with like 4 other people and we were all Classic snipping on 2Fort when this one Machina sniper started hard-targeting me (maybe it’s cause I was dominating half their team, maybe it’s cause I was the only 1 with an unusual, who knows).
I turned the corner, we basically made eye contact, I crouched, the tracer went over my head, and I no scope headshot him...
We went WILD, calling me frickin’ Neo and stuff.
I am going to watch this video every day for the rest of my life so that WHEN, and yes, when the heavy update comes out someone will have watched it the day before the heavy update comes out, and yes, it will come out, and I will wait patiently for that day

I think i know a good way to deal with a Sniper when you have no choice but to push is to make him miss the first time, then walk in a straight line until he's about to scope in a second time, at that moment, you quickly move to the left, right, Jump or Crouch, The Sniper will have a 1 in 4 chance of guessing how you're gonna dodge the headshot.
I found that Dalokos bar is good for a heavy with no pocket because as heavy you are slow and big and that extra 50 health has saved me so many times that iI can’t count the only bad part is that it only heals 100 health but it recharges fast so I would say it is good in a lot of situations specific when there is another heavy or a pyro or a good solder.
(Edit) I found that for every corner I jump and rev when I go around it so anything there has the disadvantage
You didn't say the Sandvich only recharges when at full health at picking up a health kit.
The steak is great to rollout to mid in a 5cp map if you have a medic, because you wont need much healing and you can throw medium health packs. I would put it B or C tier.
