Yes, this is the stupidest thing I have seen a person do during in a rescue. Instead of holding for her life on with 2 hands she cares about water getting up her nose. Wasn't she born with survival instincts?
Some people have their priorities skewed. The same people who thinks can battle the waves just because they are strong on land. The ocean is nothing to be taken lightly. I have lived in Hawaii and some of the calmest waves can change in a blink of an eye.
Some people just cant hold their breathe without plugging their nose. If she didn't she was just going to end up with a lung full of water, which is extremely dangerous.

That has to be amazingly rewarding to have someone you've saved come back to thank you and let you know how they're doing. Jules just crushed that rescue w/ the young woman w/ the neck injury. She was so in control, and it was great to see members of the public helping out.
Nicola did the straight up most impressive rescue with the deaf guy in that freakin humongous surf. Matt Dee is always hilarious and gives such positive support. ...And he’s hot 😋
This show really makes me wanna be a lifeguard, I am completely blown away by how good they are at their job I mean look at those rescues Jesus Christ how can they be so calm and helpful at the same time ?
i was stuck in giant waves like this when i was 12 and my little sister was 9 at the time in the same situation as me and we somehow managed to get out ourselves. this was in hawaii. scariest experience that i’ve had in water. haven’t gone back in since.
Understand completely. I borrowed someone's surf board (only reason I'm still alive) and went out way too far after a hurricane (so big waves). I tried to go out farther and farther to get a chance to actually use the board. But waves just constantly breaking over me... board shooting out maybe 6 to 10 feet away from me. Barely made it back in; and utterly exhausted by the time I did.
No shit you all do an amazing job but that Jules who's good decision making and clear thought process saved the woman with the neck injury was bloody amazing. Nothing short of a bloody hero.
Im a female guard and its been a dream of mine for a long time to be a beach guard. Bondi would be a dream. With such a passion I'm sure I will push myself to accomplish quite a bit!💕 Much love and respect for all my fellow guards out there, Its a tough job for sure.

10:30 lady that was being rescued. She was told constantly to hold onto the board. But she kept holding her nose, causing her to almost fall off the board countless times. If she didn't hold her nose, the lifeguard would have had her at the shore faster.
Mellow THANKYOU
Nicola and Jules ... love them both ❤❤
I bought the blue Bondi rescue hoodie! It’s insanely comfy 😋🤪
Mr.Grinch.2018 same!!
I need one
Same 🙏🏼
Ur so luckyyyyy
When Jules said “lie on your tummy and face this way” i read the subtitles as “you look funny with your face that way” 😂
Why is Netflix not on this yet 🤦🏼♀️
Why? Its unnecessary
Shamaur you’re unnecessary
@@oneburntchickennugget7671 No seriously. If its on youtube, why put it on netflix?
cadee dee seriously
Shamaur it would be better on Netflix bc TH-cam doesn’t have all the episodes in full length, most r lil clips. Netflix would allow people to watch complete episodes from any season
Makes me embarrassed as a German... sorry for such an irresponsible behavior
Dont worry bout it :)
pukeylukey199 *asians in full clothing
@@James-rv4bu facts aren't racist
pukeylukey199 Nah, you just think they are more asians because they all look the same to you. If you count them, there are more rescues of European tourists
Immer diese Deutschen hier Meeensch xD
damn i mean some of humanity is so good. it fills my heart with joy seeing other swimmers hold up drowning people out of the good of their heart.
I have been watching so much Bondi Rescue that when the man jumped off the board I went “Oi, Mate 🤦🏻♀️” . . . I’m American 😅
Nicola is amazing! Her children will be amazing humans, and give strength to humanity!
i’m a swimmer and i love watching bondi rescue. i hope to be part of your team one day and meet you guys. i’ve been watching your videos and there seems to be a lot of german people coming to australia for holidays and swimming at bindi beach. maybe i’ll learn some german and if i become part of your team one day i’ll be able to communicate with them. your doing an amazing job rescuing people everyday and keep doing what your doing 💗
It's so nice to see Jules as a trainee in the first clip but then a grown woman in the second 💗
They're two different people
I know I’m a year late but I LOVE Jules and Nicola! Love to see strong women making such a difference ❤️
Another episode of "what quarantine has brought me to"
Another episode of this overused comment
That has to be amazingly rewarding to have someone you've saved come back to thank you and let you know how they're doing. Jules just crushed that rescue w/ the young woman w/ the neck injury. She was so in control, and it was great to see members of the public helping out.
I agree with you Jules is an awesome lifegaurd, how long havebyou been a bondi Rescue fan?
I love Jules she was an amazing lifegaurd, she left i think to have a baby and is doing triathlete compatitions now.Who is your favourite lifegaurd?

Me gets hit by a wave in the face once: AHHH Them: Gets hit 1000000 times and saves a life at the same time
The lifeguards are truly superheroes/angels of the water. Thank you.
cant even remember the first video i ever watched of bondi and now i am obsessed with the show. Been watching for 8 years
Nicola did the straight up most impressive rescue with the deaf guy in that freakin humongous surf.
Matt Dee is always hilarious and gives such positive support.
...And he’s hot 😋
I was suppose to stop watching bondi clips an hour ago... I -
you what?
Fair play the respect she gets and it’s well deserved too, much love to these guys/women for their hard work, it surly shows 110% 💜❤️🧡💛💚💙
I’m so in love with the dedication these lifeguards have it’s amazing.
This show really makes me wanna be a lifeguard, I am completely blown away by how good they are at their job I mean look at those rescues Jesus Christ how can they be so calm and helpful at the same time ?
I made loads of Aussie mates in London who came on 2 year visa scheme. Most have gone back now so whenever I watch Bondi I think of them :)
These women are so cool, like legit. Absolutely amazing! I love what they're doing for the world!
Finally A Video That I Watched That Wasnt 6 Years ago
Huge respect for you guys... Not everyone can do this.
me: I wanna ne a lifeguard
also me: ahh open water
“If I can’t do this... why have a got a blue shirt on” wow that’s pretty cool quote
when she said cheerleading was the reason she broke her neck i screamed lmao i do cheer and its the one thing im scared of hurting hahaahah
Please be careful!
Djk34💘💝😘 are you single how old you are
i was stuck in giant waves like this when i was 12 and my little sister was 9 at the time in the same situation as me and we somehow managed to get out ourselves. this was in hawaii. scariest experience that i’ve had in water. haven’t gone back in since.
I just want to say that all bondi lifeguard. Are legend respect bro respect....
Julie and the other girl, they are AWESOME! They have so much courage! Everyone does!
props.
No shit you all do an amazing job but that Jules who's good decision making and clear thought process saved the woman with the neck injury was bloody amazing. Nothing short of a bloody hero.
Im a female guard and its been a dream of mine for a long time to be a beach guard. Bondi would be a dream. With such a passion I'm sure I will push myself to accomplish quite a bit!💕
Much love and respect for all my fellow guards out there, Its a tough job for sure.
i used to have a phase wherein i watched their videos for almost like an entire day. i guess that phase never ended 😭
This is what real strong women are like, not the bs that the media is pushing. Mad respect.
Shout out to the swimmer who was holding the one man afloat!! Definitely didn't get enough appreciation.
