Do pilots use flight stimulators to improve real world decision making? Then why can't a synthetic data model, based on real world data, calculate best course of action for a driving scenario?
Same reason commercial pilots are required to have x amount of real life flying and they can't just go from simulation to flying a vehicle with people in them.
@@kemaldemirel1714 There are Autonomous planes in development, because it's actually easier. Pilots are scared, because they know it's over and that's a good move.
@ To be honest that doesn't fare good for car industry. Automating planes is so much simpler than cars I am quite curious why it took so long and I am sure they will legally need to have safety pilots for couple of years.
