17:36 Bentley Flying Spur content starts. I really want one. This style of video seems more relaxed and reminds of when you started your channel. Great video
you probably dont give a shit but does anyone know of a trick to log back into an instagram account? I stupidly forgot my password. I would appreciate any tricks you can offer me
That Bentley will look so good up in your Bridgerton estate, love the black on red !! And that interior is stunning, by the way love the format.. great channel 👍
I like the vlog style. Been around since 75k subscribers. You are awesome doing all the different types but I like the vlog videos and obviously trip videos. Can't wait to live vicariously through you when they come back. Haha
Well I'm not saying EVs are totally viable today, but imagine this: if you charge the car at home, every time you'll have 250-350mi of charge (depending of climate, and if you let it charge to 80% or a 100%), so you basically never have to stop to "fuel up" your car between normal errands on a day. However, if you go somewhere further, don't tell me you wouldn't stop after 2 to 3 hours of driving to pee, grab something to eat and drink, take a break and refuel with gas cars. We usually do this, and have a break for ~30 mins or more, because these places tend to be full with people, so you have to stand in line. During this time, EV's like Tesla, the Taycan, and even smaller brands can get enough charge to get to 80-100% again and go for another 2-3hrs. Edit: if you are in a hurry, well you are fucked tho, but you have bigger problems if you can't manage time properly anyway.
@@garaygabor56 Exactly. 95+% of the population doesn't regularly drive more than 200 miles in a day. Which means that for the vast majority of time you don't need to think about charging at all. You just plug it in when you arrive home and that's it. And for those rare occasions when you do take a longer trip you just take a break every 200 miles. You should be taking a break every 2-3 hours anyway.
@@garaygabor56 The difference is that you will get it to 80%, but you cannot use all of that. You need to recharge at 20% to keep the battery life longer and also plan where charge stations are. So in reality you have to stop for half an hour every 100-150 miles.
Black and Carbon with red highlight. Dark austere and beautiful same time. Luxury isn’t the word. That three way rotating panel in carbon. Christ. Luxury as you say James
I've two cars one diesel one petrol and I have never got into either one with the slightest concern about range or refueling, it takes less than 5 minutes in any fuel station to give them 100% range and not that I've ever felt the need but I could always carry a spare can of fuel in the boot.
Loving the vlogs, to fill the time between the planned beautiful feature shoots. Makes me feel like I'm hanging out with you, in some way, which is even nicer, during these trying times. Keep it up.
Thanks, James, for some practical insight into the use of a Tesla for travel, but truth be told, I'm looking forward to more time with the Bentley V8 Flying Spur, love the black accents.
love to compare to an original Continental Flying spur, the 2nd gen V8 Flying spur, not so much the luxury or tech, but the general every day use experience, also road noise, ride, back seat comfort - seating for 5 , which i think the CFS was the best...do golf clubs fit straight in...no angles?
Christ I need MOT my XL1 too. That’ll be difficult. It’s insured for value not road risk. Drove mine 8-48 miles last year. Bought as investment wonder if should bother
I look at that Flying Spur and it looks agile, a driver's car. That black pack really is superb too. The lines are superb and for such a large car, it looks fast standing still. Compare this to the current range or RRs which look like concrete blockhouses. I know which one I'd rather have.
No better spec for this Bentley... Would love some high quality pictures of it, this is background stuff!! BTW: Love the vlogs; they give so much info about things no body ever talks about!
Loving the more vlog style content James. I would just like to have my own Flying Spur V8 so if you could organise that for me that would be great. Looking forward to the drive review of this one. Cheers
OH WOW, that's Just Honestly Absolutely Amazing Buddy, I Just Honestly Absolutely Love your Content Buddy, and I've Just Honestly Been Watching your Absolutely Amazing and Entertaining Content for Years now Buddy..! 👊🏻😃👍🏻
Great vid once again and agree that the charging network is the true down side to electric ⚡️. That’s why Tesla is so successful as knew how to roll out the product properly 👍🏻. That Bentley spec 😳 it’s epic and love the colour 🍻🇨🇦
Cool video as always, love to see you experience the Tesla. And the Flying Spur too. Terrible audio this time though I’m afraid - seemed to be some issue with the microphone and how it was mounted on the camera
Many Tesla superchargers ‘share’ the charge with immediate neighbours.....if it’s available keep a space on either side of you and then you’ll get the fastest charge rate.
I don't know if you actually read those comments, but if so: Try to avoid using the supercharger next to somebody else (actually this is only for the so called V2 supercharges which are the older ones). There's always two with the same number, which actually share the power to an extend. Newer V3 superchargers don't have that problem.
Much preferred your previous videos - modern classics and chronicles of Koenigsegg were excellent. Everyone is doing vlogs and I find that they lack content and contain lots of fillers. I was especially interested in this video because of the Bentley.. waited three quarters of the video to get to that point though
@@prometheus9443 freakin idiot I know lot of people use their g wagons for daily use And me i want to distinguish myself by using a luxury Sedan Like the flying spur bcos i live in LA
Bentley part starts at 16:00 and the Flying Spur V8 at 17:30 seriously the title is about the new Flying Spur and then not even 5min of this 22min video is about the car, what a waste of time
Vlogs are back woo-hoo! Let's do something wild with the XL1...how much smile can it get you driving like a maniac on a B road? The Flying Spur is also a home run for Bentley. The car is perfect and OH MY GOD that Flying B on both the car and the hanging!!!!!!!
I'd love to see how fast it depreciates...... I'd love to know what other Bentley you could pick up for between £100,000 and say £155,000. In all seriousness...... if you have deep pockets, depreciation is something your firm & CFO bore you with from time to time but a second hand Bentley..... I know.....I know (how vulgar) would be an interesting prospect (as my understanding is they depreciate as quickly as some new cars cost outright).
tesla key is on your phone app. the tesla driving experience eclipses the competition. build quality isn't great but once you own one the ownership experience makes up for any short comings.

Great video
The Vlogs are back! Really enjoy this style
Thanks - really enjoying filming them too!
Drive around the edge of the UK, every coastal road, sticking as close to the shore as possible!
That would be awesome!!!
I reckon you’d need 2 weeks or something stupid like that mainly due to the size of the roads
I've done this in Google Streetview :) took me 2 months.
To be frank, the press content has started to feel a little bland. The vlog style is a breath of fresh air!
Depends on who you ask
Agreed. I've been skipping episodes lately but I'll be back for more regular content if this continues.

That Bentley...GORGEOUS!!!!
I don't understand why you aren't at over a million subs! Amazing quality content.
For some reason JWWs videos help me concentrate on important work, even stressful ones. Who can explain the phenomena?)
Living in a dream land for a while helps zero in on your own ambitions. Healthy escapism doesn’t hurt.
I personally like vlog type content, it makes me feel more part of experiencing the cars compared to reviews which feels like watching a magazine

Loving this content, honestly first time in a couple years I look forward to every video
Hypermiling trip into Germany or maybe even Norway and Sweden!

I would never use an ev for longer journeys! For everyday use looks awesome! Other than that, I would wait for 1000 miles range before trusting it!
Absolutely love these new vlog-style... vlogs! Great work, keep it up :)
Wondering if it's quick at all, how many gallon gas tank, top speed. Thanks.
Great job sir! Please never stop what you are doing! Cheers mate!
Spend 5 minutes at a fuelling station.... or an Hour lost in the day waiting for the battery to charge again...

Loving the vlog style because it gives a decent insight into your personality. Something like that is difficult to convey with press content.
I love how VW have gone to the effort of making the XL1 so aerodynamically efficient but then show their self pride with a protruding badge 👍
The blackout on the outside is awesome, just a shame it doesn’t continue to the interior. 🤘🏼

No product placement heads up?
