      I'm curious... Is building a personal brand on your existing social media account profiles a good idea? Or should you create separate accounts for business activities?

    Love your content. There's a short story in the book “Art & Fear: Observations on the Perils (and Rewards) of Artmaking” by David Bayles and Ted Orland which, from my perspective, teaches a very important lesson that resonates with your approach:
    A ceramic teacher divides the class into two groups. One group is told to make one perfect pot, while the other group is told to make as many pots as possible. In the end, the group that made many pots ended up creating better pots because they learned and improved through their mistakes.
    Failure is not just acceptable, but a crucial part of the scaling process. Consistent efforts and willingness to learn from failures is what leads people to amazing results.
    Also, totally recommend the book, even for non-artists. Thanks for the time you put into these videos ! ❤

    I actually started a TH-cam challenge, posting one video every day, and yes, it is super depressing sometimes, but it got me out of my comfort zone and it is so much easier to just press record. I am trying out a lot of things, also how tos, and I feel that it is not my thing. What you said about one person, one problem is a new angle that I want to try out, one or two videos every week. Thank you for your insights, I love your videos.

      How much time have you put into video research?

    • @ChristophWalks
      @ChristophWalks หลายเดือนก่อน

      This was something that was pointed out to me. For YT especially you have to research ideas a lot and find validated ones and use keywords in titles. I normally just come up with an idea and make a video. But I’ve been told that larger creators research the idea first then make a video by applying their message to the idea. 💡 Hope this helps. I’m a small account on YT but have talked to people on X with tens and hundreds of thousands of followers.

Do you encourage us to remove irrelevant followers (retrain the algo) or keep them because they add to the number and help with engagement? Hi Anna. I have one problem: I HATE creating content. I’ve tried for many years in many different ways. I dislike it. Does this mean I’ll never be able to be a freelance or entrepreneur and that I should stay an employee?

    • @franciscomsosa
      @franciscomsosa 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi Lara, not Anna here, but I felt the want to reply. You make your own meaning, first off. You can always outsource the content creation part, but your mission and purpose have to be greater than the obstacles, and the content has to be authentic to you and I think it’s best you make it yourself at first. I don’t particularly enjoy making content either, but I can see how necessary it is for me to build my business, and that’s enough to motivate me to do it. My main message is DON’T SETTLE. Do what you have to do to sustain you along the way, but as a fellow aspiring entrepreneur, I hope that you keep trying, keep learning, and keep getting better - your time will come. Warm regards.

    Great video, Anna. I've a question: What should I talk about in my (text) content? Like I see others on Fb / Insta / Ld talk about UI, UX and other design stuff. But why would a small biz owner be interested in these topics. Such content would likely attract competitors which is something I don't want. How do I solve this problem? Like I can think of sharing testimonials, bts, details about on-going projects, and few other stuff. But still it feels a bit limited. Can you share some ideas on how to come up with infinite content ideas?

      Assuming that you work with s specific kind of client, it can help to make the posts about them. Where are they now and where are they struggling with (a), where would they like to be or what kind of outcome are they looking for (b). You can make posts about the route they have to walk from A > B, sharing all the information/knowledge you have.
