4:49 It's not just because of the car. It's because John dared to stand up to Iosef by saying "no" and because John showed him up when he thought he was being sly by insulting John in Russian - all in front of Iosef's goons. Iodef needs to prove his dominance to John and to his own underlings because he's afraid of looking like the weak, spoiled brat that he is.

In an era with so many remakes and adaptations, John Wick was a breath of fresh air with a new original IP that was immediately gripping and entertaining as hell, while leaving you wanting to know more about the fascinating underworld that they built. Great movie, great franchise (I haven't seen Chapter 4 yet, but I've heard good things). IMO this movie really deserved to be a huge blockbuster, and it's nice that this was a case where creativity was rewarded and the box office justified the (excellent) sequels.
Not sure I would use the phrase, original IP. Bad fracks with wrong guy wrong guy is super Billy Badass guy destroys bad guys. Thats like 3/4 of all 80's movies.
I cannot reccomend the rest of the series enough, it’s one of the few action franchises where they maintain the excellent quality and story of the original.
I love the little details. I didn’t notice until someone pointed it out, but when he’s talking to Jimmy the cop, Jimmy sees the body and immediately uses his hat to cover his body camera.
"Maybe you shouldnt have kept it all in one place" that was perfect. Funny, smart, beautiful. you have it all. great reaction. a different take than i expected.
I feel like I read an article that said that the original plan wasn't to kill Daisy, only hurt her. Keanu said that they had to kill her because his character would not have been as motivated if they'd only hurt her. Also, I think I read that the actor that had to "kill" Daisy was pretty traumatized by the scene.
@@SonicMegaKing It doesn't matter that they didn't show him hitting the pup. That just says what made the final cut. On the day of filming, they almost certainly had him pretend to hurt the dog over and over again.
Hey Addie... The series only builds from here...and gets really wild, but still really awesome. - Keanu went through months of training for the role. Specifically, weapons training and there are videos on TH-cam showing some of it. - These films use the best stunt guys as well as use many actors from 'The Matrix' franchise. Chad Stahelski, who is credited as the main director (although direction and producing were shared with David Leitch) was Keanu's stunt double on 'The Matrix', and was stunt coordinator on the sequels (he even shows up in a small role in the last 'Matrix' film). The Continental Doctor played by Randall Duk Kim was the Keymaker in 'Matrix Reloaded', and the main bodyguard Kirill was played by Daniel Bernhardt who was the "upgraded" Agent Johnson in 'Matrix Reloaded". More 'Matrix" cast members will appear in the next films. - The concierge of Continental, Charon was played by Lance Reddick. Tragically, Lance died just prior to the release of the last 'John Wick' film. RIP, Lance! - Viggo Tarasov was played by the late Swedish actor Mikael Nyqvist. Prior to 'Wick', Nyqvist was best known here in America for playing Mikael Blomquist in the Swedish film versions of the 'Millennium' novels by Stieg Larsson...'The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo', 'The Girl Who Played With Fire', and 'The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet's Nest'. If you are willing, watch these films...they are really good. They are intense as the subject matter is not for the faint-hearted, but they are solid mystery thrillers that topped the book best-seller charts for a few years, and the films keep the spirit of the novels. When 'Dragon Tattoo' was remade in English, Daniel Craig played Blomquist...which is also a decent version, I prefer the Swedish versions though. Noomi Rapace just kills it as the title character, Lisbeth Salander (aka The Girl of the title).
Another great reaction you are gonna love the remaining John Wick movies its awsome, and answering to your question about how many people John Wick kill in this movie the answer is 77. Keep up the amazing work Addie take care
The John Wick house is out here on Long Island in a very exclusive town called Mill Neck.. (At the end of Horseshoe road right by the water.) -- The runway is at Republic Airport, Farmingdale, NY.. The fountain where Ms. Perkins gets hers is the Bethesda fountain in Central Park.. --- The hotel is at 1 Wall Street Circle and is an apartment building with one current vacancy.. Fun trivia. It's aparently true that Alfie Allen's or one of his henchmen after shooting the scene where they kill the dog were so traumatized by the scene that they adopted the puppy. If it's true that has to be the most wholesome thing ever.
I think it would've been great if, after whatsisname says in the car, "What's wrong with him!?", Viggo said, "I got a better question...what's wrong with us?!!" 😆
This is probably been mentioned several times already, but: let’s hear it for officer, Jimmy and Francis the door guard. Quite possibly the two most intelligent people in the entire John Wick franchise.
In order to find out more about the car and why it is important to him, you will have to watch John Wick 2. Fun Fact: John Wick spared Francis outside of the Red Circle, because Francis told him how many men were on the inside with the amount of weight lost 27 kilograms = 27 men
21:22 Yup. That's why he asked if the contract was exclusive when he was offered it. Once he heard that it was open, he took it to help protect John from the would-be bounty hunters
People tend to forget john wick needs to fight 100s of ppl, with gunshots and knives wounds in him ,each of those people need to fight only one man,John Wick. So when a person hurts him reactors say he met his match. Wick is usually injured and fought at least 30 men...he's worn out... Everyone else only fights john. And not constantly..takes breaks while others fight John

Nice reaction, Addie. I'm so glad that you enjoyed John Wick (2014). I did watch this movie, alongside the other two, all at once in preparation for Chapter 4. However, I plan on rewatching all of them soon to get a fresher perspective on all four films.
loved that you loved this!
Addie: "I love this dog so much"
Us: .........................
Nice pick, Addie. You're in for a wild ride! The four John Wick movies are fantastic.
Heyyy, it's Bill-E and I am thrilled you have begun this adventure!!
20:09 ... Addie: "Maybe you shouldn't have left it all in one place? Sounds like a you problem." And the crowd goes wild from Addie's comment!! (applause)
20:43 .... H D Y !!!!
Just to let you know... the kill count for this movie alone is.... (drumroll) ...... 77 !!
I'm already ready for you to see John Wick 2
Take care of yourself, Addie!! Wish we had an Ollie sighting.
And for our love of dogs in this movie.... There will always be love for Titus
Bad fracks with wrong guy
wrong guy is super Billy Badass
guy destroys bad guys.
Thats like 3/4 of all 80's movies.
@@Koyotee25 the IP is both the character and the world. They created an original world with a complex underworld ecosystem and culture.
@@Koyotee25 you're confusing tropes for IP.
I always forget that Westley from daredevil is in this movie
OMG!! As soon as I saw you were watching this, I thought to myself, “Your followers are evil!!” We know how Addie feels about dogs!! 😳🥺
"I love this dog so much!" while already crying.
This is going to be quite the emotional ride.
That actor has something wrong with them to be traumatized from that. They didn't even show him hitting her. Must be a shot actor.
@@SonicMegaKing It doesn't matter that they didn't show him hitting the pup. That just says what made the final cut. On the day of filming, they almost certainly had him pretend to hurt the dog over and over again.
Great reaction Addie! Luv daisy the dog and that scene gets me everytime! Im thinking John Wick is BACK!!😁 Luv ya Addie ❤💛
Best reaction to John Wick ever.
Wow, you finally reacted to it!!! I got my wish 😮
I love the poetry of John destroying the foundation of his new life, the basement floor, to re-enter his old life, the guns and coins.
I've been looking forward to this
Another great reaction you are gonna love the remaining John Wick movies its awsome, and answering to your question about how many people John Wick kill in this movie the answer is 77.
Yes, you can live there.
I just started watching your reaction videos and subscribed. Here is why. You are exceptionally astute, smart and observant. No matter the movie….you get it. You miss nothing. You would be the kind of friend that I would want to go to the movies with and talk about it afterwards. Thank you Addie.
"sounds like a you problem" I lol'd so hard when you said that
I have three dogs and I completely understand this movie. Unfortunately, evil like this exists.
“ Now they’re just ringing the doorbell now?“ I was not expecting that and I burst out laughing so hard.
Fun trivia. It's aparently true that Alfie Allen's or one of his henchmen after shooting the scene where they kill the dog were so traumatized by the scene that they adopted the puppy. If it's true that has to be the most wholesome thing ever.
Can’t wait till you reach the 100,000 subscriber point Addie you’re too cute with these reactions ❤
Me: (first time Addie gushes over the puppy) **slight giggle**
Me: (second time she gushes over the puppy) Ha! Hehehehehe!
Me: (third gush) STOP IT!!!
I believed Addie loved this movie "John Wick"😅😅😊
that cleaning guy, has best job, nobody will ever go after him because everybody needs him
So glad you're finally starting John Wick! The world building only gets better as the series goes on. So excited for Chapter 2! Personal favorite 😃
Addie’s face for most of the movie
😳
The saddest part is when you realize Daisy crawled to John before she died
In order to find out more about the car and why it is important to him, you will have to watch John Wick 2. Fun Fact: John Wick spared Francis outside of the Red Circle, because Francis told him how many men were on the inside with the amount of weight lost 27 kilograms = 27 men
21:22 Yup. That's why he asked if the contract was exclusive when he was offered it. Once he heard that it was open, he took it to help protect John from the would-be bounty hunters
Outstanding movie and reaction
People tend to forget john wick needs to fight 100s of ppl, with gunshots and knives wounds in him ,each of those people need to fight only one man,John Wick. So when a person hurts him reactors say he met his match. Wick is usually injured and fought at least 30 men...he's worn out... Everyone else only fights john. And not constantly..takes breaks while others fight John
This is going to be fun!!! Hold on tight!!!😮😮😮😮
That defeated "Oh..." becomes a running theme in this series.
She is so lost being escorted through this whole world. Her innocent nature is astounding lol.
Keanu Reeves did all his own stunts in this movie except for when he got thrown over the railing. This series has some of the best and most realistic choreography I’ve ever seen.
Glad to see this reaction. If you are an action movie fan this series has to rank as one of the best. Will be watching you on your journey through these awesome movies.
hi checkout " nobody" if you havent yet , by same john wick team but with " better call saul" , many say its about as good
