- This video is from my solo motorcycle ride across Zambia. On the road from Chingola to Lusaka I was caught by torrential rains. Luckily, it was just the end of the rainy season and soon after I could enjoy the sun and camping again.

In April 2017 I left Australia for a solo trip around the world on a BMW F800GS. I named it “Are We There Yet” because I don't know my final destination or the duration of this journey.
Throughout my journey, I was raising money for a young disabled child in Poland named Franek. Franek was diagnosed with cerebral palsy (weakness of the entire right side of the body) and he will require constant rehabilitation for the rest of his life. Those rains remind me of Lusaka/Zambia, when I was there. It can rain for like 10hrs non stop

The fruit seems to be granadilla. The seeds are similar to passion fruit. Very nice to eat. Safe journey!

I'm from Dover TN and I have a 1998 custom softail Harley Davidson ,and I wish that I could do what you do at the age of 59 it is to late for this Old veteran.
No it isn't. I'm 57 and still riding my 1100GS with my wife who is older than you, most recently over 10000km in South America late 2019. Went with a mate and his wife - he was 63 at the time. Your bike is more of a handicap than your age IMHO.😁

And how do you like the roads in Africa...crazy....but the people are so damn nice...We also stayed at Fringilla Farm on our 77day trip in 2011. Apart from the Butchery they also have their own Post Office and Clinic. Very nice.

Those fruits are MARACUYA or also call in the Caribbean PARCHAS , A very tasty but strong fruit which you should dilute and drink as a juice..

Those fruits are grenadillas. They have to become brown and wrinkled on the plant because they don't ripen after picking. Delicious!
Hello Kinga, miserable riding in torrential rain I know from previous experience. Having been a big hiker and camper in many places previously, always avoided camping under trees, midges, rotten branches, lightening strikes etc, and if wet, moisture dripping onto my tent. Something's to be aware of I guess. I hope most of your health concerns are behind you now, particularly the infection you caught swimming in that lake ? Always enjoy your adventures, keep safe and sound eh ?

Another great video, than you. They are Passionfruit, also grown in most back yards in Australia. I have a Panama variety growing out the back. We havest them when pink skinned plump and ripe (they fall off the vine when ripe, cut them in half then store the pulp in small single serves in the freezer to have on ice cream or use in cake icing and generally flavour a lot of foods.

Sleeping under a tree that large has its advantages, as well as disadvantages (Cue Lightning Strike) and Bang, down falls a limb crushing Chili but saving Kinga, who wakes as if nothing untoward has happened. Must be the clean Zambian air.
