Russillo is so on fire on this pod but CR and Simmons knowing when to get out of the way and let him go ISO really helped. Also underrated was Simmons cracking CR up with The Shines stepdad bit, and Simmons and CR cracking up when RR has Cris dating Steve Levy.

The last ten minutes of this pod is some of my favorite content ever. I wish they’d do some sort of Boston history podcast almost like drunk history. Never laughed out loud harder!
Russillo had one of my favorite lines from anything I've ever heard on an episode of SVP. When Cabrera was about to get the triple crown and there was a debate about whether he should sit the last game to protect his being average, Russillo delivered this line about Ted Williams and how his dad told him about why he played that last game - Russilo said, "When I was a kid, my dad told me three things. Always stand up for yourself, be nice to your sister... and when Ted Williams had a being average of .39955, and they told him if he sat the last game, it would round up to .400 in the record books. Ted told them, 'Screw that, If i can't hit .400 straight up, i don't deserve it.' He went 6 for 8 in that lay game and ended with a .406, because THAT'S WHAT MEN DO." - that whole thing fucking floored me.

The Town is currently #14 on iTunes movies. I was looking for something to watch last night and saw it there along with all the new releases. I can only conclude that this pod lead a lot of people to rent it, including me. Impressive that this pod moved the needle that much!

One thing I love about this film is how Jon Hamm is both a total ass but also never let's you forget that he's on the side of good. It lets you root for the bad guys without losing a moral center.
The thing about Adrian Lynne almost directing before Ben steps in is interesting as now Lynne is prepping to direct "Deep Water" starring Affleck.

A very underrated bank heist movie that never gets mentioned - 1990's Quick Change. It's not so much the actual heist that makes this movie great, but rather all crazy side characters that the bank robbers had to deal with in the aftermath.
Lively is literally playing my baby's mom... no bs, n her name is cris. Spot on.
My favorite rewatchables. I've seen this countless times. Comfort watch.

Spent every summer at my cousins in Charlestown , my cousins are in the movie, the place has totally changed now , everything is different, it used to be so raw and full irish , I could only describe it as IRA Belfast , full of first and second generation Irish immigrants, everyone knew each other, everyone had each other backs , now there’s so much of new high income professionals in the area it’s killed the rawness!!
