Your choice of songs/instrumentals never fail to delight & impress. Especially this piece by the brilliant Steve Hackett (former Genesis guitarist!) I first heard or saw this piece on the tv live at a concert. I never heard of Steve Hackett in 1988/9 although I heard of Genesis. Spectral Mornings is heavenly bliss to the ears. Heavenly bliss with a rock drum beat. The keyboards sound heavenly too. I saw a still relatively young Steve Hackett play this live on the tv. The concert was in 1981. He played some beautiful electric & guitar pieces while with Genesis. He is in a league of his own. I heard other solo pieces by him. His music & songs shine like a beacon.
If I had to describe Steve Hackett's music I would say it is poetic and pictorial music, made of sensations and emotions. It's the same team of musicians on Spectral Mornings and Defector, which I see a bit like twin albums. I don't remember if you've ever done the track "Every Day" which opens the Spectral Mornings album, but if you haven't yet, try this awesome (anti-drug) song with great guitar parts by Steve Hackett, as usual.
there was a bit of a victory music side to it, or accomplishment, walk-into the light, wait wait i think it's dont walk into the light. Though i forgot why not, it was just in a b-series semi-comedic horror movie, probably an adventure type of Disney movie, so technically not a horror movie. YEs this is one of steve's finer albums in my honest opinion though Im more into Defector this album has plenty tracks with the listen i reckon give Gypsy and the Virgin a listen as well as the amazing Tigermoth
Loving all your reaction videos. A great cover version (with lyrics) of this song was released for charity in 2015 by Magenta featuring Steve himself and the late David Longdon, and a great live version is on TH-cam here th-cam.com/video/fwZP7X02AX4/w-d-xo.html

I haven't, but I'll add that to my playlist x
I wish Steve Hackett had never left Genesis. One reason he would still have had time to fit in his other music projects.
the guitar swipes are lovely, I bought a guitar and learned this song (I'm a key board player)
