This is my favorite album of their's. It's such a ride start to finish. Check out the official video of this, such a treat . Also, they recently rerecorded this for their 16th studio album last year, Halloween themed call Danse Macabre. Cheers 😊
If u ever do smth from their follower album (RIO) just think of 'Last chance on the Stairway" and 'Lonely in your nightmare"(i love that '82 video clip with Si looking out his window that mystery woman in black)
Excellent album ! I think it leans a bit into post punk more than the new wave pop they would became famous for. Definitely check out Friends of Mine and Careless Memories.
Never heard this song before. Duran Duran were a top band in the 80s did some good songs an were good live on stage. Think Planet Earth was there first hit.
@davidcorbett341 I'm sure that you're right there David. I only bought the singles "Planet Earth", "Careless Memories" and "Save a Prayer" and that was pretty much it until I heard the Wedding album a decade later and the brilliantly sublime "Ordinary World" and "Come Undone" and I was back in with them. All the best buddy 👍
Almost got all of their discography.Seen them live several times they are a very vibrant Live act and Simon is an explosive frontman and live performer.Kinda Mick Jagger of pop.
@@alexioverdo5225 Sans Jagger's dance moves, thankfully. 🙂 However, it's better than some frontmen who stand there like a statue singing for the entire show.
@@eamonconnelly8029Ha!ha!Well I wouldn't disagree!Yet If the statue has still the exceptional power to transmit "waves" inside me then it's ok by me.If not then ,no vibes,no connection ... it's awfully boring.I've been in such gigs and was partly dissapointed by the frontman's 'laziness".
If you play the first few mins to people there are very few would guess its Duran Duran....they sometimes played out of character as they also did with 'Ordinary World'. Although labelled 80's pop they were very diverse sometimes.
ʟᴏᴠᴇ ᴅᴜʀᴀɴ ᴅᴜʀᴀɴ ❤
Great song from an amazing album.
Very good debut.'Anyone out there?" is ma favest deep cut (from the non single tracks).'Nightboat" was in their latest tour tracklist.

You should DEFINITELY watch the official video.
One of their best tracks from a masterpiece of an album. Great reaction. The video of this song featured zombies in the Caribbean. Very spooky.
And they were 20+ something? Great song from a great album.
