I freaking loved her character. Unlike the typical kdrama where the husband cheats and the wife just sits and cries....she was a very smart woman. If course behind closed doors she broke done but she didn't give that trollop any satisfaction or emotion. She was. A quick thinker and was in control the whole time. She handled this situation with clear purpose.
I recommend the Kdrama Love(ft. Marriage and Divorce) if you want to see good scenes between wife, husband and mistress. Not that much catfights(just on the one couple ig) but a strong fight through words(not in a vulgar way or anything). Sa Pi Young's character is my everything, her daughter is just like her too. It's a story about three women who undergoes through betrayals from their husbands with different situations, different pains, and different ways of handling. Sometimes the scenes' cuts are random and you'll be confused as to what is the imagination and what is reality, but the show is beautiful(at least for me and my mom). It's currently on its Season 3 and is ongoing. Its first two seasons were under Netflix.

The husband was bold to do something like that, but it also showed the depth of his relationship with this woman. This is the first Chinese drama where I thought the wife held her own and showed what it was like to be a strong woman.
The mistress thinks she has more right than the wife. She is really shameless. She knows from the beginning that he is a married man and she keeps on pursuing him. The guy just want to play but was caught in the net just like a fish out of water. I’m glad wife divorced him. He beg her not to divorce for the sake of their son, but when he cheated, did he think about his son? Thanks for her good friends who supports her all the way.
The mistress throughout played on the husband's emotional weakness by telling him how he & his son is totally controlled by his dominating wife & urging him to do all things that his wife forbade him to do
The mistress words about the wife not knowing her husband and that she didn't deserve the good *he* does for *her* just shows that she is the one who doesn't know him. She knows *his* side of the story where he's the victim and the wife the abuser/bully. The wife was cool calm and collected when she corrected the little girls half-truths. If I had been her, I would have been tempted to point out that without her his business would have been no-where near as successful as it was, since she was the real leader/brains where he was the creative mind behind the fireworks themselves which he both wanted and yet resented the wife for being better at the business side of things. It shows he *wanted* to be the big boss but both he and everyone at his company knows he isn't capable in that area, but she is. And he resents her for it. So he got a young thing who believes everything he tells her to boost his ego, purposefully forgetting that so much of what he has is because of the strong woman he married...only remembering when she finds out what a two-faced cheater he is and risks losing it all for the sake of his ego.
Loved these series. She's a survivor and overcome her financial and emotional turmoil her husband created; he ended up in prison and the mistress tattoo marked for ever with the remainder of her mistake.

As a child whose parents are almost 20 years divorced, i can tell you that even though at the beginning its hard to deal with changes, with time it got better.
