Thank you for your channel. I quit drinking 4 years ago and kind of lost myself when I did. Your channel brought back my passion for cars and I missed it so much. Keep it! lol
I'm glad to hear you are keeping her. She is so special! I just purchased a 2023 Challenger Jailbreak B5 Blue and will pick mine up on Friday, 8/16. Can't wait!
DO NOT SELL IT! Like you, I own a 2023 Hellcat Widebody with the Tremec 6-Speed in Sublime. It was difficult to locate, it isn't for sale, and only 314 of this Hellcat variant were manufacturered. I have a 2020 Challenger Scat Pack Shaker with manual transmission, I drive that the most. I can relate to owning two Challengers, I love them both!
You hit the nail on the head. Bookends. Plus the part I can relate to personally. My late wife wanted me to have my 2020 R/T 6sp. It was practically a present and I will never sell it for that reason alone. But I do drive the hell out of it.
Thanks for the ride-a-long. These deep dives are great. It's nice seeing someone talk about his expensive toys without a hint of snobbery. Well done. Grape Ape is the one to hang on to.
I have the same as car as you, only mine is go mango Hellcat 2023. I plan on keeping mine because I enjoy driving it. I did not buy it to try to make off it. But rather to it and enjoy to the fullest.
Absolutely agree with keeping both. Keep the stories coming Joe, you're doing a great job of making cars personal and more about the experience which is exactly what it should be.
Keep Grape Ape and get rid of the 170. Grape is an awesome GT with a super rare manual. Once you go auto, you can get faster stuff. Get a new ZR1 for the ultimate American autotragic missile.
Joe, Lori, I have a solution--drop either of these beasts off at my place in Lakeland for safekeeping. Safe and snug in my garage!!! :) Great rationale and I can't argue with bookends!
They also came out with a Purple People Eater back in the 70's that was a different (lighter) shade of grape that was highly sought after. I'd keep it !
Keep it. I totally get it. I have a 2024 Mustang GT performance pack and a 2012 Mustang GT Brembo package and they’re totally different driving experiences. I love them both for different reasons.
No!!! It's a plum crazy Widebody Challenger! we'll probably never see an American Muscle Car ever again Mr Raiti! and only Mopar was making American Muscle Cars while everyone else was making wannabe European sports cars or an off brand Ferrari (C8) That Widebody Challenger is truly special because it has a stance and attitude that the same ole same ole sports car doesn't have. Keep it man! I'll be buried in mine. Mopars are like the Stone Cold Steve Austin of cars Mr Raiti! Do you want to upset Stone Cold Steve Austin??? Historically that's not a good idea 😂
You already have the perfect garage with the demon 170, gt350 and ZLE, but it still sounds like you want to keep the manual hellcat, as it provides its unique experience as well. Id keep it, if you can!
Considering you have gotten your hands on the 170 I’d recommend selling the jailbreak and get something else for the collection like a Blackwing or a corvette!
I have owned many sports cars, the one I regret getting rid of the most was my 2018 manual hellcat challenger. The driving experience was like no other. Keep the manual Joe
I had a first year 2008 SRT Challenger and a 2015 Hellcat at one time. I kept the Hellcat and eventually sold it my son. The 6 speed is just so much fun to drive and requires a higher level of involvement. In your case you have a good reason to keep both.
There were 314 total Widebody manuals made in 2023. That number is extremely low and the only manual trans year with a Jailbreak badge. Never sell it if you have no problem storing it indoors.
Keep the Jailbrake. Install a DSC suspension controller and you've got a wonderful multipurpose beast. Great around town cruiser, mega fun at the road course track days and legit at the drag strip!
Plum crazy is one of the best color & and on top of that widebody all around aggressive presence & manual transmission.. You don’t wanna get rid of this baby..🙅♂️ I’ll be keeping my plum crazy charger jailbreak as long as i can , this color stands out wherever i go ..
Joe, you have the GT350R, that's the only 6-speed manual you need if you have the Demon 170. To me, this is all about the manual. The GT350R and Demon 170 are 2 of the best collector cars you could own from the past decade IMO...
The feeling. Have a 18 Audi S6 that fits like a glove. Could I have more tech, power, etc...sure. But I love getting behind the wheel. That feeling is hard to find.
I was going to say how it seemed pointless to have both, until you started driving. Seeing you row through the gears while the supercharger whines along with the roaring V8 just brings brings a smile to my face
Love the Color Plum Crazy!! The Manual transmission is just amazing and rare. The Demon 170 is rare also. If you can keep them both. If not, pray to God and see what HE says. I wish the C8 Z06 had a PLUM CRAZY purple paint. Their weak sauce Hysteria Blurple is just such a "safe" purple. Theyre not big number colors anyway so at least go hard.
Yes you should sell it to me. Unfortunately I have spent all my money on other performance cars. This is an expensive addition. I think you may have it to. Keep up the good work Mr Joe. I love seeing all the different cars you review.
Keep both! They are both amazing. Let your wife use one. These will be classics. Lots of HP per $. We have two Mopars too. The charger and challenger are both cool and exciting in different ways. When I bought my second Mopar people questioned me too. I said it keeps the miles off the cars. Plus, look at how expensive the new ones are. I feel young again when I hear the baratone exhaust. I will keep both as long as I can keep them running and you should too.
Huge fan of the Dodge Viper when that was out. I would sell absolutely as there is way too much cladding in this machine although they had a wagon version in the 1990s that was totally awesome. New stuff en route starting with V12s in Europe speaking of the Dodge Viper going to already has brought back the Hemi so expect some early 1970s amazing V8 Thunder to return as well where at GM never left of course.
Joe, you got some cool crazy cars! With that I say, if you still love driving it then stay with it. Let an opportunity present it's self. Like a trade or money down for something more. 😎
With the state of Stallantis and Dodge, I would sell now. CEO of Dodge stepped down July 1st and they are in a tailspin. Soon they won’t have parts to support V8s anymore because they don’t make them anymore.
I have a 23challenger scatpakIts in the shop for repair second time around with trouble when you put in gear it won't move.Gettel Chrysler Plymouth was supposed to have fixed it last time this happened!
Hey Joe, l love your channel, love your reviews and really love all your cars! Each one of them are super special and serve their own purpose. With that being said, I say keep them all if you can and continue adding more amazing cars to the Raitis garage while you can! This is what car enthusiasts and collectors do! Also, i happen to live in the Pinellas Park area and I'm very familiar with all the different roads you go on throttle on. But I've always been curious to ask if you've ever gotten pulled over going on throttle and have wondered if you were able to get out of getting a speeding ticket by offering the cop a twinkie or two? 🤔

I would keep the Hellcat with a 6 speed transmission, over the Demon170. I really hate automatic transmissions, of all the vehicles I own, I only have 1 automatic.
I’d sell the 170 and keep this one. However, I do love a manual but I don’t like it in Hellcats. Just feel like it’s a big heavy car with a ton of power and no traction so I need to focus on keeping 2 hands on the wheel 😂🤣
I would sell it now. I think the Dodge brand is finished. I had 4 Challengers, 2 SRT’s and 2 Hellcats. I couldn’t wait to get rid of the last one. It not so much the car, it is the owners who have ruined it.

You are so very right about that
My thoughts exactly. It's gonna be extremely rare one day.
@@RaitisRidesYes, a manual muscle car is so unique and fun to drive
Keep Grape Ape and sell the Demon. After the Demon having so many issues I would let go of the Demon.

Love the grape ape way better than the 170. Just a better looking ride.
Thanks for sharing some love for the Ape!
Don’t sell. You should hold on to it for a few years and then sell. I have a feeling it will be more valuable.
I think you may be right
Sell that Demon 170 if anything. I prefer the grape ape. Also you got the manual which is fun.
Disagree. Demon is super collectable, very rare and only going up in value
