These all look fun… except myth. I don’t know what they’re thinking with that spell. To make it balanced, make its base spell do 400 then 400 for an 800 damage hit, evenly split, that’ll make it a good hit with blades but bad for traps unless you somehow work in a myth fuel.
ima be honest i think double hits (for them to be good) need to be MORE damage than hits that hit through shields (like drop bear) AND need the initial hit to be low damage to ever be justified.
Now that we can aura our opponents, there are some very interesting spell ideas that come from it. You could make a card with insane value for its pip cost, but it gives the opponents a helpful aura. I'm curious if we'll see "trade-off" cards like this.
Like putting berserk on your opponent so you both deal increased dmg to each other. Also for death, a "soul link" aura where whenever one of you heals or takes takes damage, the other person also takes a portion, doesnt include heals from drains. Death already has some self damage spells which would make it interesting if they add a big self hit for buff.

The update forced me to quit a solo side quest dungeon fight. Its frustrating knowing full well I couldve killed and beaten the boss if spell animations didnt take FOREVER >:|
Bruh all life gets is heals and more heals. We already have a plethora of heals to choose from. The last thing we needed was another heal, like where's our 4-pip AOE that isn't locked behind a paywall??!
Rat spin can be obtained by farming king borr in grizzleheim. Which while yes it requires goldnskeleton keys, iirc you get them from the loyalty store for having membership and you get a free key if you finish all the quests in a world. One could argue this is still locked behind a paywall but when you need membership to even play past wizard city that point is kinda moot
As a myth wizard, kinda disappointed with Myth's options. I don''t know about the balance, but I wish Thoth would have some sort of trap gambit for a benefit. Needs more damage too.
16:30 Is it a mitigation aura, or is it a stronger attenuate (assuming the opponent has at least 2 HOTs on them)? It looks like they didn’t include the incoming or outgoing symbol but it looks like +30% so I’d assume incoming.

Bro these spells SUCK Life 4 pip aura and ice weakness are the only ok ones But the fact that you need 2 specific cards in your hand, means ypu are playing without a card for most of the game (statistically speaking) and you're probably gonna discard it for side shields before you get to fuse it

It would remove the opponents HoT "Clear" is always removing something the opponent would want, such as a trap on you, or shield on opponent. "Gambit" is always removing something you would want, such as a weakness on an opponent. So clear is for counter play, while gambit is for you to set up stuff to then consume it for something else you'd want. Gambits effects are stronger. As an example death has a gambit that will consume your weakness on an opponent to apply 2 -60% weaknesses. Death also has a spell that removes an opponents blade to apply -20% weakness.
@@Krispe there is also "if..." It doesnt consume the "condition", and the condition can be something you or your opponent wants. As an example " gain shield if opponent has blade" "Echo" is exclusively balance, and is similar to "if..." However the effect you gain is always the effect your opponent has. As an example "gain shield if opponent has shield" I think all echoes have "max 3" meaning that if your opponent... Has: you gain: 1 shield, 1shield 2 shields, 2 shields 3 or more shields, 3 shields While gambit, clears, "if..." Will trigger 1-3 times max depending on each spell usually only have a max of 1 or 2 though.

Technically the myth spell is still visble for pve 🤔 with an enchant the spells damage is 1,300 for 7 pips. While orthrus is 1,000 damage 7 pips with enchant it would just feel useless if your going for a 1 shot with feints. Its understandable why it feels useless though 🤔.
the only way the myth spell does that much with an enchant is if you go the overtime route, but you have to wait out all those rounds and its not even like fire's OTs where you get the damage gradually. You have to wait five rounds or detonate just to get the overtimes' damage. the new troll CAN make the spell viable because it'll be a double detonate but still not sure its worth carrying for the fusion alone

You get 1 free gold key per spiral scene event too. That could hypothetically be 6 free gold keys in a week if you do it on all wizards.
