Just ordered this and the strut brace today 11-11-23. Can not wait to install them. Figured i would get these parts installed before i get the intercooler and the tune. Thanks for the vid!
Wow! The european hybrid with it´s endless torque needs this part. Our 500hp+ Queen tows the trailer and this part is exact, what we use! I´ll contact Robbie to send us one. Best wishes from Germany. Jörg
My question is, when will Steeda release both the front and rear emblems for the Explorer ST. I think the ST is a rising platform for both Ford and Steeda, Shelby is sniffing around (Explorer R releasing soon. 5.2 supercharged V8). Let's goooooo Scott. Get those emblems going.
No mention of needing a 12 mm socket cap on the intro tools needed for installation. Great video but that was a real pain getting to the end and not being prepared.
Glad the video was able to help. If you install any more parts in the future we do have PDF instructions that you can find under the "Specifications" tab for the specific product.
Hey 13 mm won’t work unless it’s the 12 point wrench 🔧 with the notch on it, but it’s still gonna slip. Just use the E18 socket on the bottom 4 and the E18 wrench on the top two
They will fit on the 2020+ Police Interceptor Explorers! We would definitely recommend it in your case as there's a chance the Interceptors have seen more intense use than your average ST.
Lots of guys on Explorer ST forums with the upper bolts breaking. Somebody needs to keep banging on Steeda for cure before I spend $500 for their brace!
Genuine question! The guys who’s bolts broke, Were the new bolts installed at the same time as the brace or were the old bolts from when they got the vehicle ? I ordered the rear differential brace and plan on changing the bolts same time
You put a 12.9 ZINC PLATED bolt on the exterior of a vehicle? That is insane. You will have catastrophic field failures from stress corrosion cracking.
I wouldn’t tamper anything in suspension or drivetrain for a Street use vehicle. Would be annoying to feel vibrations or hear noise for a family suv. 😅
Too bad after buying an expensive new vehicle...one has to go buy aftermarket parts to keep this vehicle safe and operational. Ford Designers take note

NOTE: The kit includes the red bushings, and the black bushings are now an optional upgrade that we only recommend for race applications.
I've tried to convince myself that the previous lop-sided solutions on the market could do the job. This one inspires far more confidence in me.

The 2 bolts you partially undo are also 18E torx bolts not 13mm on my 2021....Great product for sure!!!!
And other engineering performance part from Steeda it just amaze me, awesome work guys.😊

Great job Scott. Keep the innovation coming.
Got one that just arrived yesterday, now i cant wait to see it in place.
Make a kit to add the extra bushing up top the way it was designed

I wish the Explorer R was gonna be a thing so badly.

Got the AWR Brace but I’ll definitely be upgrading to this beast eventually!
I LOVE the Explorer!
Solid video Scott!
Glad I watched this,...just got this assembly from you,....No instructions were included,..needed the torque specs.

Great Job Steeda, I’m looking to get my Explorer ST sometime this year.
Awesome! We've got more planned for the platform so stay tuned...
That is a nice piece.
Did you get updated studs ? People are still breaking the studs on the mount.
Looks like the exhaust pip will hit the brace on the drivers side.
Question: are these necessary for the average driver and factory setup?
No, its more for modified hard launches
Most likely not,but it sure can't hurt anything and you can definitely sleep better at night knowing your rear differential is firmly attached.
Does your rear differential Steeda brace product work/fit on the 2020 Explorer Limited RWD 2.3L ? I just want the added safety assurance.
Yes, this is designed to fit all 2020+ Explorers.
Are those necessary for Explorers works on the 3.3 naturally aspirated?
I’m struggling to get the top two bolts out. What’s another solution if my 13 and 14 mm wrenches don’t cut it

will this work on a used recently purchased 2021 Ford Explorer Police interceptor utility 3.3L V6 ? or do i even need one ? thanks brother

@@steedaautosports Thanx so much my brother **will definitely get one ^^better safe than Sorry😒

Just saw two more with this brace that had the upper bolts break on the Steeda brace. Won’t be spending $500 on this until it’s fixed.

This kit adds zero NVH with the red bushings.
With this I think the factory bolt is the brace.

Google diff brace. Ford won’t be the only vehicle you see. Stronger is stronger.

Thoughtfully crafted installation instructions are the indication of a highly refined product.
