If the que is A study was carried out to find the exposure between obesity and Dev of HTN. out of 400 obese ppl 20 developed HTN, while among 2000 non-obese ppl, 100 Dev HTN. WHAT TYPE OF STUDY IS THIS?
A village has 100 under five children. The coverage of measles vaccines is 60%.following a measles case 26 children developed measles. The secondary attack rate is? Ansr plz
Ma'am there is one question Biomedical wast management - 5 marks I read from book and google also but I can't understand well . Whould you like to make one class over it ?
Thank you ma'am for amazing lecture ....but I have a doubt .. Ma'am is there any difference between retrospective cohort study and case control study ??
Ma'am, in Park, there's a statement regarding case control study: While matching it should be borne in mind that the suspected aetiological factor or variable we wish to measure should not be matched, because by matching, its aetilogical role is eliminated. The cases and the control will then become automatically alike with respwct to that factor. But Ma'am, in both the examples: Control: smoking n still not contracted lung cander. smoking has been matched between the case n control. And, steroid contraceptive useage: got breast cancer(case) and not got breast cancer(control). There also, the aetiological factor has been matched. Then why is the statement in the Park written otherwise when we are matching the exposure factor in both case n control?
Thank you mam, I always feared starting epidemiology considering how enormous that portion is, but your videos made it a cakewalk! ☺️😇
