I don't like reviewing boats under 23', I feel like there is always a compromise in the wave, not this one. This wave hangs with the waves on our SLs or SEs, no joke. Watch and see why.

Great review Dude , I’m sold on it , I’ve never had any kind of boat , so smaller is less intimidating for me with out compromise , thanks again 👍🏼
Your welcome, and thank you.
I always look forward to your videos. The illustrations on the “interruption” were easily understood at least by this dummy lol! Thanks so much for the time and work you put into the videos. Hope to see you all out sometime this season.
Thank you very much!

Awesome review!!
Thanks!
Loved the video thanks for doing these!!! Where is the best place to put an angle finder in an older boat to determine the pitch? My boat doesn’t have one built in? Thanks @wake9
Something like this, works great. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01N6ITA32/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
@@wake9tvWhere is the best place to put it? Floorboard of the boat or somewhere else to get the most accurate pitch and roll? Thanks again for the help and I’ll order one of those!!
When we demoed the SV I was blown away how great the wave was. We only used 400 lbs of lead in the surf locker with one driver in the boat and the wave was super firm. Like concrete firm. Tons of push and easy recovery and good length, especially for sub 23’ boat. It was better than the SA and SL waves I’ve demoed with lead (not super slammed tho) and the SV wave was better nearly all around. Loved the boat and would upgrade out of my dialed Max for it.
its an outlier in a great way, and gives me goose bumps for the next gen SL and SE.
I mean, this is really sick. That wave is crazy big. But they should get extremely easy to set up with great waves out of the box for $200k on a 21.5’ boat. Hopefully we will get that mojo with 6000lbs of ballast this good.
Well, that Tykon is also a great boat, not this good, but for the price, its outstanding. Check out that review.
Great video. We just picked up a used 2017 Craz and will be dialing in the wave after I replace the ballast pump impellers. What's your recommendation for measuring the pitch since it doesn't have autowake? Is an inclinometer app on my phone good enough?
You can get a digital clinometer from amazon for $40 or so, there is a phone app, but doesn't work as well. Watch this for more info: th-cam.com/video/AD1wEPrSWuw/w-d-xo.html
Great video, thanks for sharing! Have you demoed the 24 SE? Mine arrives in a couple months!
No, but we have been in a 23 SE since June. Same as 24, but the 24 can have some new features, but surf wave and all should be same. My favorite boat.
I've been following you since your old RZ2 days, and I even bought some of your Wake9 bags back in the day. To this day I always appreciate your content. But I have a bit of a brand question as it pertains to your discussion on pitch. In all the boats I've ridden, Centurion, MC, Supreme - lesser on Nautique, but they all run really nose high to make a wave. So high in fact that it's hard to see forward. It's likely even more than your 12 degrees noted here. However in my TIge 21ZX (and previously in my 2013 Z1) I needed a TON of nose weight. The boat runs better and the wave is bigger and longer when you get the nose down, and it can take 500 lbs of lead in either of my 21 foot boats on top of 3 humans and water ballast up there. So this is opposite to what you are saying in this video. So my question is - what is it about Tige that makes it opposite to seemingly ever other brand? (and unfortunately I've never surfed a Supra)
The RZX we had in 2016, was going in the right direction, but I felt then the RZX2, went backwards. But the boats before the RZX were great for their day, but just don't hold a candle to these boats. The short answer to your question, is the hull, and engineering. I loved our Tiges, but they kept taking a nice step forward, and then 2 steps back. Supra moomba (SC) has been consistently moving forward, and its due to the quality of their engineering. Slow and steady wins the race IMO.
Sold my Malibu for a mastercraft now I can’t get a good wake. Best recommendations for x30 to get long clean wave ?
Trade it in for a skiers choice.
Well, I can't tell you the best settings, but I can tell you what I do to figure that out: th-cam.com/video/AD1wEPrSWuw/w-d-xo.html
How do you measure pitch? Is that displayed on screen?
yes, it is on supras and moombas for sure, its part of their autowake system.
