Great, helpful tips for foiling. Gorgeous cards too. So sorry about your friend losing her husband. I lost mine last year and thoughtful cards meant a lot to me as yours will mean to her.
So sorry to hear of your friend's loss. My thoughts are with you both. Your card is beautiful as usual. Thanks for the tips on the foiling too. I'm going to wait on the anti static bag to see if I can get it to work with other textured cardstocks with your tips. Take Care!
Thanks for the inspiration and the tip about using a powder tool. I'm definitely going to try that out. Love your cards. I hope your friend is coping OK.
Thank you for sharing these tips about hot going on colored card stock. I love the results that foiling gives to cards but also find it challenging. Your cards are beautiful!
@@pamelasertich9850 This must be something new, because I consider Spellbinders one of the companies that are foiling innovators and actually one of the first companies to make the foil machine and all the accessories to go with it and have been in the foiling business for many years. Today they put out a new set of tutorials on how to foil and they did used the embossing bag. It's the first time that I've seen them use it.
@@Tessiefaye I think people are getting confused with the static electricity of the foil. The powder bag doesn't do anything when you are hot foiling. As already mentioned you only need to worry about dust when you toner foil.
@@Tessiefaye yes she did and she also mentioned that people were likely getting confused and why. Needless to say I won’t use the powder bag when I foil
Thanks for sharing your new tips for hot foiling. I’m still learning and need all the information and your cards turned out beautifully. I have triangles foil plate and it always cuts the paper in spots in my Gemini. I’m not using addition shims so not sure how to fix it.
Thank you for your foiling tips. These cards are beautiful. I am sorry to hear that your friend lost her husband. I have a friend who lost her husband today also - but today is also her birthday.
The powder would interfere with the glue on the back of the foil and make it not stick. I have never heard of anyone doing this before. The heat melts the glue and the pressure makes the glue/foil stick to the card. That is why heat and pressure are the two most important things :) absolutely love your cards :)
So sorry to hear about your friend’s loss. The cards turned out absolutely beautiful! Will these cards fit in the standard envelope for the mini slimline envelope without trimming the overhanging vellum?
Beautiful as always thank you
Lovely video with all tips and tricks 😊

Just fabulous! I loved watching you do the testing and the stunning results! Thank you so much! ❤️
I've never seen the embossing bag used, interesting. Beautiful foiling and blending. Thanks for the tutorial.
Never use an embossing bag with foiling. You don't have to dust for that kind of foiling only on the foil that goes through the MINC or laminator
