A lazy friday night / Saturday morning spent replacing parts off Solihull's finest..... A very loose how to on the replacement of the TD5 crank pulley / damper.
Around the 8:20 mark in the video, you'll see that I went under the vehicle and removed the flywheel locking pin... Didn't film it going in. Got mine from Laser tools.
Oh my the locking pin! Thankyou that was the little tip i needed haha
"To the land of the 10mm sockets"!!! hahahahahhaaha so funny! :-D
Great job! And no 3 Amigos!
Did you loctite the bolt or just torque?
I’m interested to know what symptoms did you get from the engine for you to know that this was the problem?
I am only halfway through watching, but how did you lock the engine to be able to undo the bolt?

@@SHEARMANDESIGN Fantastic thank you :-)
@@SHEARMANDESIGN so the pin will hold it? Would you use a top pin as well.. you dont know how chuffed i am i found this video💯
@@mattpepper1143 I just used the locking pin on the flywheel. No need to lock the top end as you're only working on the crankshaft. 🙂
