Actually seeing the faces of the people behind Warhammer is a great reminder that there are people behind Warhammer. Sometimes they go under appreciated and hidden, by both the company and community, wish is a real shame. Another step forward, well done Warhammer!
Huge improvement allowing the painters to be named, the energy is enough to keep the viewer engaged, and it's nice to show off even introductory speed painting!
I really like this new, multi-level, long form content. Can we see more of these in the future? It's great for painting up an army where you want to put different levels of effort into different models.
Finally, the painting video on the Raptors. I've been waiting for this video since the poll. Definitely watching this on the TV. Can't wait to see how they turn out and what I can learn
Great painting guide to show multiple ways to achieve a colour scheme. Hope that you guys will also do this kind of tutorial for other spacs marine chapters !!
Haven't watched any warhammer TV for ages, but it's good to see the presenters front and centre, and expressing some personality 👍 Also nice to be able to comment!
Great seeing the presenters bouncing their charming personalities off of each other and great to see the results of different time spent painting. Good content!
This is absolutely great! These 3 guys have great chemistry and their examples and techniques are awesome. I hope you can do more like this! I greatly appreciated it. Thx Adam, Emma, Ollie ans GW for this! 😘
Great examples of how to build up details. I’m a big fan of painting models in 1 hour until the squad is done. Then after spending time painting other stuff, I come back to them to really get it up to parade ready standards.
That was an awesome video. So good to see this sort of three staged format. The idea that you could use all three to start off for table ready and then later on use the other two if you wanted to invest more work on them to take them to the next levels. Great job guys.
Really love how you presented this video. Easily my favourite so far. All three of the models look great, and I feel like I've learned a lot of new techniques. Thanks for sharing!
Love all of the explanations for each version - I'd love to see their take on other colored chapters, maybe burgundy? Very cool and informative format.
I'm so glad I'm not the only one who struggles with weapon casing highlights. Captain Highlight is an excellent code name, I'm just more of Emma or Ollie when it comes to getting my armies done.
I really like this objective, but I think I'd personally prefer to see all of the 1 hour process, then all of the 3 hour process, and then all of the 6 hour process. I personally would find it easier to follow while painting.
@@officialwarhammer it's definitely just my opinion and I may be alone. It's more, I will have your videos on while I paint, and I like to follow, at the moment I am doing the stormfang gunship, and it's nice to be able to watch a bit, pause it, watch a bit, pause it. Where as with this structure, you'd have to watch it, pause it, scroll a bit, scroll backwards a bit, un pause it etc. You could always try both structures and see which is most popular. But seeing the painters and seeing the three options, absolutely fantastic idea! Thank you
@@chrisashcroft2111 How about timestamping each step of each "version" so you can jump to whatever you look for? Like: 3:40 - 1 hour - basecoat 4:15 - 3 hours - basecoat 3:15 - 6 hours - basecoat And so on? Best of both worlds, I suppose

It depends what you are trying to get out of it. Ollie dry brushes first and shaded afterward so the dry brushing blends in more softly into the armour. If he wanted it much more sharp, then shade first then a dry brush secondary. Hope that helps :)
I'm a longtime fan of the Raptors, but you guys have been giving them a lot of unexpected attention the last couple of years, wonder why that is? Maybe they've got an important role coming in the lore?
Death guard green spray. Give the model a thinned down coat of death guard green from the pot for a nice strong coat. Drybrush with Straken Green. Lightly drybrush with Ogryn Camo. Wash with a 1+1+1 mix of nuln oil, reikland fleshshade and lahmian medium and boom, raptor armor is done. 👍
This is kind of freeky, as I was talking to my wife the entire week on how I wanted to start painting Raptors :o For captains etc, do you give them black cloaks?
Death world forest Elysium green Ogryn camo Sponge on ogryn camo and rhinox hide for battle damage Nuln oil 1-2 lahmian medium Is my recipe for raptors, a nice drab olive green
Artists can be seen and interesting subject. This is the kind of content we want to see
Woohoo! Glad you liked it!
this.
100 this, long time since I thumb up one of your videos. Good job. Now fix Legions Imperialis stock :D

All 3 look awesome. Good job team!!
Thanks" Glad you enjoyed! Have a great weekend!
Happy to see some more raptors representation!
I love these kind of videos, especially because i like to see how each painter paints their miniature. Please do more videos like this one!
No worries - Paint team have a load of great new ideas coming up.
Huge improvement allowing the painters to be named, the energy is enough to keep the viewer engaged, and it's nice to show off even introductory speed painting!
Gosh these videos are so wholesome. Adam's temperament is like a warm and very English blanket.
This was a really great video, love this format, hope to see more like this!
Glad you enjoyed it! Have a great weekend!

Please do more in this format. It is fun, showcases the artists, and is also incredibly informative. Thank you
Glad you enjoyed!

Those are some great looking Alpha Legionnaires.
Wonderful job on these, guys and gal.
This is an excellent format, look forward to seeing more of it.
One of the best videos I seen in a long time!! Really well done and loads of fun!!
This is the kind of content I love. It's great to see all of you together. More of this, please. Have a great weekend.
Thanks for the kind words! Glad you enjoyed - have a wonderful weekend!
Thank you thank you thank you. It heartens me that you guys listened and put the artists behind the work front and centre. Well done.
Bring more of this content!!! Love it!!! Seeing the artist and different paintjobs was so great!
Best painting tutorial GW has done to date!
Honestly starting from Deathguard green gives the model quite a nice look to it, especially when given an Agraxearthshade panel line.
Awesome format for painting videos, would love to see more of this!

This is a great idea for a painting guide!! Maybe in future do other chapters with more intricate/unique schemes? Or even other armies perhaps?
Thanks for the suggestion! We'll pass it along.

The one hour one is my favorite. They are all great paint jobs however Ollie's is the one I really like.
Excellent work ❤
Great video idea! Ollie's Raptor is just what I needed to see to get me back on the horse again!
I just finished painting my first 2 crimson fist models and now I wanna start Raptors cheers guys! 😅
Awesome video. More like this please!
I love the tactical looking raptors :)
Actually, really nice video. I wonder if this format of painting levels would apply to more complex models
Love all of the explanations for each version - I'd love to see their take on other colored chapters, maybe burgundy? Very cool and informative format.
YEEEESS this is what i've been waiting for!
Your videos are always good. But this one knocks it out the park. Great job!
Really like Adam's eye lens technique, looks very realistic with little effort!
More videos like this!! 🤩
You guys are like the Rod,Jane & Freddy of the painting world.Your so funny.Great work guys you all did them models justice.
That was a really fun video, more like this please!! It would be cool to see people painting a few of their own minis and hobby projects too :D
Ill be trying this soon, ive just bought the jump pack space marines, love the green army colour, amazing work 🎉
Woooo! Raptors! Was hoping for an official painting on these lads. Look good with some guards men.
I'm so glad I'm not the only one who struggles with weapon casing highlights. Captain Highlight is an excellent code name, I'm just more of Emma or Ollie when it comes to getting my armies done.
great video but why mix the 3 tutorials? it makes it harder to follow.
More of stuff like this please
Love this video and your style of making videos lately.
Great comparative and instructive video, realy loved it.
This was fun!
More of this please, it’s amazing when you can see the presenters and their personalities comes through the video it’s a fun viewing. 😀
So happy to hear you enjoyed!
Awesome work guys! Will try some of these techniques to get through my marines ❤
“There’s only one thing to do… I’m going to add a second edge highlight!” - I feel so called out 😅

Good stuff. This is very nice content.
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it! Have a lovely weekend!
Would love to see this video format with some chaos space marines or even some Sigmar models, great job on all 3!!!
I'd have thought it might give a better result to do a wash and then a drybrush, rather than the other way around? (asking as an absolute newb)

@@Em-the-paint-freak it does, hugely; thank you!
Great video! I don’t know how you do those highlights so fast
Glad to hear that you enjoyed!
They look amazing! 🦅
Really cool 👍
Great video! This is exactly what we want. Now do Blitz Bowl teams!
Finally I'm in tear❤❤❤
Make the space marine the highest quality you can, for the emperor.
👏👏👏👏 Love this!
Are you going to make one for blood angels
I'm a longtime fan of the Raptors, but you guys have been giving them a lot of unexpected attention the last couple of years, wonder why that is? Maybe they've got an important role coming in the lore?
Love these vids. Could the Raptors be added to the citadel colour app? so we can get the citadel paints to start making some?
Death guard green spray.

Drybrush with Straken Green.
Lightly drybrush with Ogryn Camo.

Awww yeeeah, my bois!
The only thing i would change is keeping the three paint jobs together, as i found it confusing bouncing between them back and forth.
Thank you for your perspective!
Great content guys! Quick question though, What was Adams second armour edge highlight? (after Elysian)
Olly's was surprisingly my fave
Raptors - very reminiscent
What colour is the yellow eyes?
Good stuff
All look really good. But I have to admit. I think the 1 hour model wins. I'm definitely going to give this method a try.
Please do another version with a Flesh Tearer
It's nice, I like it
Love this format. How bout seraphon soon :)
We'll just have to wait and see...
Glad you enjoyed the video!
This is kind of freeky, as I was talking to my wife the entire week on how I wanted to start painting Raptors :o
For captains etc, do you give them black cloaks?
COOL maybe you could make a new tyberos mini and then paint that
Due to how the video has been done I struggle to believe each mini was done in the time periods stated.
Next trick: Paint a model start to finish in one minute
2:38 shade thrown
I would love to see some volumetric highlights instead of edges
Not my colour pallet for Raptros, I kinda like red eye lenses more (and more grim green armour like I do my dudes)
Death world forest
Elysium green
Ogryn camo
Sponge on ogryn camo and rhinox hide for battle damage
Nuln oil 1-2 lahmian medium
Is my recipe for raptors, a nice drab olive green
Assault marines are an odd choice to represent the chapter who focuses heavily on stealth and marksmanship.
Yall need a bigger table 😂
Now why does watching this remind me of playaway? Yes I'm showing my age 😅😅
I’m just sad their 1hr quick job is my best effort lol
why raptors, I think they are really cool but why choose the raptors?
why choose any chapter?
🥸
Moooar
3 tutorials at the same time makes it difficult to follow
