It's a great feeling taking the kids out on the bike for the first time. My eldest lad took to it like a duck to water & loved it. My Daughter hugged so tight we bashed helmets for the entire ride, but she still enjoyed it. Occasionaly I'd surprise & pick my lad up from school. His face & grin was priceless.
Love watching what you do, spent my first few years after school wayyyy back in 1973 doing this, enjoyed seeing the finished product but the industry wasn't for me. I just watch amazed at all the gadgets you have now, the chaser and multi tools, the hours I spent with a hammer and bolster, breaks my heart to see how easy it is now. Take care.
Great thinking regarding using an extra socket and the light switch for the kitchen it's a method I've used in the past. they could have had dado trunking in the office room. Well thought out and planned.
You know, I had a flash back watching this, the house layout is very similar to my childhood home/my Mum's house, obviously not the same house as in the video, I practically grew up in the office room. Same dimensions with the exception of the way the door opens. It's serial to see a house that feels so familiar in a TH-cam video... it hurts my brain...
who ever put that kitchen in was not thinking --- i would have totally rewired it and put the sockets in better spots -- got to say some excellence work in doing all that drilling behind the tiles and all them chase's beats a hammer and chisel + hammer drill -- these are things they never teach you when doing any of the trade courses in college --- keep it up
They where not, but it looks pretty new so you can probably still get the tiles. Otherwise, the number one rule when tiling is to keep a whole bunch of spares 🙂
I am really enjoying watching this rewiring job. It looks very interesting. I wish they had those chases in my day makes life a lot easier than a hammer and chisel. Thanks again for showing us.
Is that a double socket under the counter for 2 appliances? It's such a large area on the camera that it appears to have room for a washing machine and or dishwasher etc and I thought you needed individual sockets for each appliance?
If you play a hot air gun over the tile you want to remove until it is good and hot the bond beneath loses much of its adherence and will allow you to remove it by prying with a decorators knife.
As tomorichard says, the zones extend through the wall, so when drilling see whats on the other side, and no need to create a new zone, it doesn't hurt though, better to be safe than sorry. Did he consider trunking with that amount of sockets. Good job buddy.
hold on a minute, the chaser machine doesn't generate any dust or so ? wow ! need one of those ! Also very interested with the cutting of the tiles (I'll have some to do at home)
The number one rule when tiling is to keep a bunch of spares. The tiling will always be on longer than you first imagined and one day you will need to replace a tile for some reason. At which point having a bunch of spares will save you ££££ on a complete retile.
Hi Nick, when you guys drill into breeze blocks your bit never wanders or hits a hard bit causing the drill bit to swerve. How do you do that or is it just my blocks? 😄
@@NBundyElectrical can you sing 👍🤭 never thought much of you house bashing types but have say bit more to it than you think good planning saves a lot work as for rolling carpets up 🤔🤔🤔 thankfully something I’ve not had to do other than my own home although I pay others now 🤭👍👍👍
Why brush plates for cat6 cables? We've done it, but i prefer proper euro RJ45 modules to transition from solid to stranded, if you do it right it is till 10G capable.,.. do you have a proper network cable certifier? (I don't, it's on the wish list)
I personally love the camera angle but it’s your channel so it is your choice how to do the videos how you want. I hope you enjoy making videos as I fully support you as I also have a mental health issues and means I can’t do much work now which is a shame.
Obviously too late now, but couldnt have found where the new 2.5mm dropped from the socket nearest the sink and fed back up to that socket? Save the tile cutting stress
@@NBundyElectrical sorry not that socket, I meant what was the cooker socket with the 2.5 dropping. Looking good though fair play, upping the standard on a rewire
So weird seeing you with Milwaukee tools 😂 but interesting knowing starlock is compatible with Milwaukee...I take everything I read online with a pinch of salt until I see hard evidence
Great work Nic. Comment on video, love the quality. Don't love the jumpy moments when moving horizontally left and right. Is it camera settings, or YT i don't know, but it is noticeable. Love your content.
Great content Nick. Lovely to see you grow over the past few years. It's a bit like the' Truman Show'... have you seen it? Really brave of you showing warts n all. Although actually - it's probably the best approach.... then you don't have to remember what opinions you've voiced in the past! I'm NOT blowing sunshine BTW... you're not THAT good 😆 Do a separate channel for the 'born again biker'... 🤣 you'll be a millionaire a few years sooner??? Cheers, Darren.

its awesome mate, I haven't gone faster than 3 miles an hour with my daughter on the back, but my youngest lad is the same as yours
Cable zones extend to both sides of wall. No need to have accessories on both side illustrating zones 👍

Nothing worse than cutting into freshly laid tiles! Top job as always

I used to go out with my dad on the bike too! I hope to do the same thing with my son. sounds like a great father's day.
It was awesome dude 👌👌

Very well done working around the tile issue.
That's some mighty fine tile cutting!
thanks mate also thanks for all the Marylands and monster
@@NBundyElectrical No problem! Glad you enjoyed them!

thanks mate
The tile grout blades are amazing used them in my kitchen to cut tiles, You done amazing job and the way you done it is the only way I can see it
Great job Nick , it just made it so hard for you having the tiles in place already.
Next time you tile cut - masking tape the edges to prevent chipping - keep up good work!
good shout
Imagine getting sent here by ur boss and you don't have a wall chaser 💀
hammer, bolster, 2 weeks...LOL
😂😂
Top problem solving video!
Great job nick, looks spot on mate, wall chaser is a god send for that job.
My Dad took me out on his many bikes when we were kids. Good Fun.
drilling at an angle, behind tiles.........yup, that's a right PIA, you smashed it though
Thanks mate
What was the reasoning for 35mm switch boxes? Was it for smart relays behind the switch fronts?

loads of great content again.. problem solving is very much needed

Offered trucking on the kitchen but customer decided on chasing bud
now that's a piss off job and you did it flawlessly, nice.
thanks bud
THE final outcome was incredibly satisfying to see... every other domestic spark here is like OMG THAT IS SO COOL'

Just practice mate that’s all dude
Tekkers not damaging the tiles. 👍
2:48 oooh! I've got that air fryer 😁
4:29 no, mine's a different one. carry on
lmao
My mum does have that exact air fryer!
So do I ;-)
I do too #NBairfryerwatch channel coming soon.
James Arthur look for today then 👍 I love the chaser so much easier than drilling lots holes and using hammer bolster 😮😮😮,, looking good
this James Aurther comment kills me every time

I tried the neck mount, it was terrible, it kept leaving the camera at an angle; the chest mount was much better.
The office needs its own ring😂
Great video as always helps me relax and calm down after hard day

mine is just a basic cable mapper, and carefully maintaining the twists
Well done in that kitchen 👍👍
Thank you 😊
great chasing, bet that when you have finished the client retiles the kitchen because they don't like blank plates
That was pretty brave.
Zones transfer to opposite side of wall. No need to add accessories to creat zones
Only if the wall is 100m thick or less.
Done well Nick.
Skills or what...a lot of electricians wouldnt even attempt! Impressive
Nice one Nick only one mention of Adams mum your getting better 👍 😀
its building up to a big one mate
you missed the PoV caption?
Hi Nick…. Super tidy job drilling through all those tiles without damage …. How many sockets does the owner need 🙈😂
Well done Sir Nick!

I totally agree nick re: father's day... mine's been gone 44 yrs now... SHIT i am old

it was under the shower tray mate and didn't want to cut the ceiling above

Good video
Don't forget supply to cooker hood?
thanks bud and they didn't ask for one dude
@NBundyElectrical maybe you should suggest one as cooker on internal wall. 👍
ah putting that random bit of wood back onto the floorboard it came out of.... so often mate
Good Job Nick
Amazing work
Thank you! Cheers!

Ha look at young Nick , Young whipper snapper
I just use a sledghammer in tiles.
Makes a total mess but f*ck me is it satisfying or what?
This is one of your Vest videos Nick.
I hope Adam's Mum is eligible for Adsense at this stage 🤣
She gets paid from a different website mate
I’ll try and call you tomorrow
Nice one Nick
Gotta ask about the multiple office sockets. Bitcoin trader with nine monitors? Instagram bot farm? Sweatshop?
Didnt think regs allowed a switch inside the bathroom?
Yes, mate, there’s no issue with it unless there was a shower or bath
Only a toilet in there so doesn't count!
