Valdo as a Fauré interpreter is underrated. Personally I think his best recordings are not Ravel or Chopin but Fauré. These are marvelous recordings. The Chopin is nice too.

This set of Nocturnes is definitely superb. I feel some Cortot-ish but got more freedom on his side.
