@@sebastiankulche too many mini-game vehicle type levels in Warped. Still a great game, but Cortex Strikes Back was pure platforming at its best. Didn't rely on gimmicks as much.

I've met all my lifetime friends thanks to Crash, I remember I was in 2nd grade and on my way home when I asked if this guy knew Crash Bandicoot and he said yes, so we started our friendship by playing in each other's house, then we met others who also loved Crash, one guy who particularly prefered Crash 2 and he was the first one to ever find some of the secret levels, I was the one who found them in Crash Warped, which is my favorite! I've moved away it's been 7 years and now, through social medias, we still talk about the N. Sane Trilogy and the upcoming Nitro-Fueled and we all wish we could be together to play these.
What do you guys think of crash 4, I personally like it a lot but it's far from being as good as the og's, especially in terms of music, atmosphere and immersion. Also I expected high level of graphic details and very good lighting but I guess I expected too much. The level design and the amount of levels and their length is very good, my favorite part of this game.
@@MonkeyDPirateKing Crash 4 is fun but designed very weirdly. Why they chose to bring back the map hub from Crash 1 instead of an authentic Warp Room is beyond me. I'd have kept the Warp Room scenarios and you fix the problem of redundancy by making the Warp Rooms much much larger and with two or three bosses per warp room and way more levels. I'd also have kept the motorcycle levels and blimp levels even though a lot of people hate em, I like the blimp levels and the motorcycles are ok just frustrating. The graphics of Crash 4 are actually its strongest point IMO.
I played this game when I was quite young, about 7 or 10, I can't quite remember. I loved the Eel Deal tune so much that I began humming it so much that over the years I actually forgot where I got it from. That's the impact the catchiness had on me!!!
The best feeling in the world is when you're cleaning your house and you find an old game, such as this one. Then you hurry to unplug your recent console and hook up your old PS1. Ahh, the nostalgia
Lo bueno del crash 2 es que sus bonus y rutas mortales tiene más variedad a diferencia que el crash 3 que tenían la misma melodía solo con diferentes instrumentos
So nostalgic for me. I recently bought the trilogy for PS5 and only ever played the second crash. Instantly I knew the music was a little different and updated so I had to check and make sure lol. Wish they kept it the same
My mom used to play the original Crash games when I was a kid on the PS1. I used to watch her and would sometimes attempt to copy her, even though I had no idea what the hell I was doing. Ah, good times. I still play them on my PS2 and yet I still can't master them like my mom could.
Boulder levels, man...Those were THE levels. N. Gin's design is still my fave of the OG Crash villains too (I mean, from the OG trilogy). I will always love his tech and hopes that he continues to be awesome. With all the new music related fights he's been partaking in, I say he should be a musician.
Josh Marcell was the primary composer for the soundtrack, but you can hear his boss Mark Mothersbaugh's influence in a lot of the songs, *ESPECIALLY* in the Piston It Away/Spaced Out tracks (unsurprisingly given they're new wave techno-pop songs, which Mothersbaugh and the band he co-founded, Devo, were most well-known for.
What a masterpiece of a plattformer. This was one of The first games I ever played, first on The ps1. I love this game to death with it being on my top 3 Favourite games of all time. This is definantly my Favourite in The series with warped being my second Favourite. BTW: one of my Favourite soundtracks of all time.
Enter the level air crash. Go until you reach the dock. There should be a bounce box and a square tile on the right side. Get up on the far right post of the dock, bounce on the bounce box and land on the tile. It will warp you to a secret warp room. Hope this helps!
Maaan! "Snow Go..." and "Hang Eight..." were so much in my mind!! 2 of my favourite songs in this game! Awesome childhood times!! Can't wait for the remasters!!!
This reminds me of times sitting in the living room playing these games with beloved brothers. Sadly we've all grown up and we'll never get to do that again, but I'm so grateful we did and made those memories. God I love them so much, there is nothing like the relationship between brothers.

This whole soundtrack should definitely be considered for Classical music genre, especially Rock It/Pack Attack track, it's like the whole orchestra is playing, magnificent and beautiful!
