Nice video guys! Roosters can be tough. Last June I fished every morning for 4 days with nothing, then decided to try the afternoon (3:30 pm) and got my personal best of 40+ lbs. You never know when it's going to happen. If there's nothing showing, just kick back and enjoy the spectacular view.
Great video!🔥🔥🔥 Would you mind sharing with me. The reel you’re using? I caught that you’re using a Jansen 13’ rod. What is the specs on the rod? Want to get the set up for my next Cabo trip. Also do you guide? Thanks Guy
We use 13ft rods the ligther the better, the reels we use are Shimano Stella 18000 and we do provide surf fishing guided services down here in Cabo and La Ribera. We also have fishing boat charters and guided kayak fishing trips.
@@Tagcabosportfishing good deal. I will pass this info to my Brother. He will be back in a few weeks. We’re heading home today. Wish I would have seen your TH-cam channel sooner!
The Stellas are great reels, but I've been fishing the Daiwa Saltist 5000 for 6 years in Cabo. They're powerful, well built and will tackle any rooster or jack 50+lbs. Only $250!!
what month when the drone footage film? i was in there july. not that may rooster. this video showing almost 8 rooster fish wow and during sunset right?
It was in July and the mullets were in that area for about 2 weeks. July is great for big rooster fish. You just have to look for the right water temperature
I was literally there during july full moon this year. Just for rooster and plus they like sunset feeding so full moon was perfect. But i saw rooster fish but wasnt able to catch it. So sad. I was messaging martin for advice too.
Can you sdvise me what water temperature? I willl have to spend another trip back cabos next year again. Ugh. For my first rooster. It was sad that day. Saw the rooster feeding but cant catch
I see Martin, and Neto!! Be there in 21 days!! Can't wait to fish with Martin again!
Right now it has been a bit slow for surf fishing but hopefully by the time you get here we should be doing better
