Hi their .I am intending to book my apartment for the 2 February for 2 weeks ,it says 7 minutes walk to Costa azul beach. IS THAT PLACE OK FOR TWO FISH Will be bringing my rods with me but will try to keep my equipment to a minimum as do not whant to be carrying to much equipment with me lets say its an age thing so need to top up with so better for me to. Purchace the fishing tackle . Their Can you confirm if I am close to get what I need .so information from you would be a great help Thank you Is that area OK for to the fishing As do not know that area. I’m blessed to have our beach house in OCMD (ocean city Maryland).! Spend a lot of time traveling just to touch fish. Love the mullet run. Bluefish. Sharks. You name it. Follow the mullet. And love your family. Glad to see someone with experience casting and catching. Wherever you are enjoy the moment in the surf.

Family has been going to Cabo since the 90’s. Place at Cascadas. I hope to surf fish someday and bring my son and my 84 yr old Dad, Joe who got us going down there. Heading down to Cabo towards the end of May. Wanting to bring down a rod and reel and try to get a rooster. Opinion on a 10 ft Penn carnage with a 5500 Penn slammer? A little smaller than what you’re using, I use it in texas for jetty fishing jacks, king mackerel , and redfish

I love watching all your TH-cam videos... I learn so much about Baja surf fishing, it’s so different than our Southern California surf fishing. My wife and I own a time-share at Pueblo Bonito and fish the beach there. How do you compare that beach to many that you fish in your videos? I hope to see you soon my friend...
Hola Dan, sorry man, also this one was in my Spam box?!?! Pueblo Bonito Sunset and Pueblo Bonito Pacifica (both on the Pacific) are on some fantastic beaches. Especially late May, early June the fishing is just as good, if not better there than what you see in my videos. If you stay in any of the Pueblo hotels, you ca take a shuttle to The Pacific side. It all falls and stands with coming at the right time though, try to plan your trip around a new or full moon, the have the strongest tidal changes and that really helps the fishing. This video has been most helpful as I prepare for a first trip to San Jose Del Cabo towards the end of March. Do the Sierras come in closer to the sea of cortez (I'm staying near tequila cove beach in the tourist corridor) or do I have to really venture to the Pacific for those? I also see what look to be some good rocks in front of my hotel. Fair to say I might have a chance at snappers on topwater there? Seems like high tide early morning is best. Hoping ther will be some quality day time fishing as well. Can't wait to stop in the shop and grab a few plugs! Thank you for the great content!

super cool. I see you have a Stella... what rod would you pair with that for us that have to get on a plane? looks like an 11 footer? It looks like those roosters are biting right close to shore.. a 8-9 foot 2-3 piece travel rod with a stella would do the trick? a topwater plug too? I've seen the roosters traveling from Cancun to Isla de mujeres on the ferry. Seems like you can get them all over. thanks for the tips.
Well, it depends where you mostly fish, here in the Cabo area I would suggest something like my Baja Beach travel, a 12', 6 piece travel rod. that rod may be too heavy for down south, we also make a power spin, 4 piece 10'er. all my travel rods come with a case. www.fishandsave.com/jansen has quite a bit of my tackle available in The US.

Hey Stephen, met you a couple of years ago at your store next to Walmart... I really enjoyed talking to you and getting to know you. You’re really a down to earth guy!!! I love watching all your TH-cam videos... I learn so much about Baja surf fishing, it’s so different than our Southern California surf fishing. My wife and I own a time-share at Pueblo Bonito and fish the beach there. How do you compare that beach to many that you fish in your videos? I hope to see you soon my friend...
Hola Dan, sorry man, also this one was in my Spam box?!?! Pueblo Bonito Sunset and Pueblo Bonito Pacifica (both on the Pacific) are on some fantastic beaches. Especially late May, early June the fishing is just as good, if not better there than what you see in my videos. If you stay in any of the Pueblo hotels, you ca take a shuttle to The Pacific side. It all falls and stands with coming at the right time though, try to plan your trip around a new or full moon, the have the strongest tidal changes and that really helps the fishing. This video has been most helpful as I prepare for a first trip to San Jose Del Cabo towards the end of March. Do the Sierras come in closer to the sea of cortez (I'm staying near tequila cove beach in the tourist corridor) or do I have to really venture to the Pacific for those? I also see what look to be some good rocks in front of my hotel. Fair to say I might have a chance at snappers on topwater there? Seems like high tide early morning is best. Hoping ther will be some quality day time fishing as well. Can't wait to stop in the shop and grab a few plugs! Thank you for the great content!

Muchas Gracias Jorge!! Justamente ahorita estoy editando un video nuevo en Español que voy a subir a finales del mes. Los carretes que uso son 3, el Shimano Stella 18.000, 14.000 y el Shimano Twin power 14.000, me gustan los carretes veloces y esos son muy rápidos.

super cool. I see you have a Stella... what rod would you pair with that for us that have to get on a plane? looks like an 11 footer? It looks like those roosters are biting right close to shore.. a 8-9 foot 2-3 piece travel rod with a stella would do the trick? a topwater plug too? I've seen the roosters traveling from Cancun to Isla de mujeres on the ferry. Seems like you can get them all over. thanks for the tips.
Well, it depends where you mostly fish, here in the Cabo area I would suggest something like my Baja Beach travel, a 12', 6 piece travel rod. that rod may be too heavy for down south, we also make a power spin, 4 piece 10'er. all my travel rods come with a case. www.fishandsave.com/jansen has quite a bit of my tackle available in The US.
