Glad you enjoyed my home town! Talk about tip of the iceberg, there is sooo much more to see! For your next visit and to all the other visitors I recommend: A walk from Sebilj to the Eternal Flame(or vice versa), visit the different churches, mosques, synagogues in close proximity, observe the change from Ottoman to Austro Hungarian to Socialist influence. Visit the city hall by the river, have lunch/just a drink a bit further up the river at "Bentbasa" take the cable car up the mountain, visit the bobsled track up there, come back down and smash some cevapi, stop by where Franz Ferdinand was assassinated which sparked WWI which led to WWII which leads us to the present political climate. Then make friends at the bars around the corner. Thats a weekend right there. Then there's greater Sarajevo, don't get me started on the mountains, lakes, waterfalls, caves, rivers, canyons...the whole region is mind blowing - I'm from New Zealand, trust me haha. Great people, food, culture, nature - pity about the politicians!
I winced at the Turkish kebab (which you can have anywhere in the world) instead of cevapi or the pies or anything else... but then knocking back the rakija? RIP. You're meant to enjoy the aroma and the way the taste hits your palette in so many ways, tongue, throat, stomach, aftertaste, back through the nose. Give it another ...shot. badumtss. Zivjeli :)
It was a lovely kebab to be honest this was the end of the trip I had Cevapi and Burek and plenty of other Bosnian/Yugoslav specialties check out my other videos from Bosnia Goran! The Rakija was great fun very strong. 🤪 Zivjeli
Thanks for information
Thank you my brother in the future see you inshallah
