Just a little nitpick, percentage on the beer is not the alcohol content, but the barley content. Which translates to alcohol a bit, as the barley is the source of sugar. But 10% beer will have around 4.5% alcohol by volume and 12% beer will have around 5% ABV. Other than that, I hope you liked our Christmas markets. I feel like they always bring out their big guns for this event. Like, the langos that I had there was the best langos of my life, same with lokse (the potato pancakes)
Thank you for the information my friend, yeah the beer was definitely strong! Ah mate I absolutely loved Bratislava one of my favourite cities I have been. I look forward to visiting Slovakia again in the future. 🇸🇰 Check out my other videos from Slovakia and thanks for watching. 👍
Travel from Bosnia to Herzegovina. 👍
Correct my friend 😁
👍
Thanks bro 😁
looks like you had a great time in Bosnia :) there is so much to see beside Sarajevo. If you ever come back, you should go to Jajce, Travnik, Mostar, Trebinje, or if you like nature, I recommend National parks Una and Sutjeska as well as Nature parks Tajan and Blidinje. We have a lot of waterfalls. Actualy, Bosnia has more waterfals than Germany, Italy and France combine together. Kravice waterfall is must see or waterfall in Jajce town.

Hi mate. Bucharest is a great city with plenty of sites and nearby places of interest! Im sure it will be a great place to base yourself for a month. 👍
Loved your video on Sarajevo! One thing though, "Cevabdzinica" is the type of restaurant it is. It means "cevapi restaurant". The actual name of the restaurant is "Zeljo 2". Similarly, "Buregdzinica" is a "burek restaurant". But Zeljo 2 is one of my favorite spots to get cevapi every time I'm in Sarajevo.
Thanks for the info my brother and thanks for watching! Hvala puno
I love that you liked Riga. But what's up with the Russian words? Especially on the Independance Day 😂. Very triggering for Latvians and other citizens of countries who were occupied and tortured by Russia. It's so super awesome that you learned a couple of Latvian phrases and we absolutly love when foreigners try to speak Latvian. But foreigner trying speaking to random Latvians in Russian is a big no no. Especially now because of everything happening in Ukraine. If you would say to me 'paldies' I would be super happy, but if you would follow that with 'zdravstvuyte' that would take my smile away. We have had long and lighly saying unpleasant history with Russia and Russian language. I guess I don't expect foreigners(not people from previously occupied countries) to understand that. But just a tip, if you ever visit Riga again, or Lithuania, Estonia, Ukraine, etc. Latvians are introverted, so they probably will not say anything, but they will definetly be put off. Tho Russians living in Latvia probably would love that 😂
Ah I did not mean you to upset anyone. I only knew the odd Latvian word and I knew some Russian already I just thought the local people would understand me more than just speaking English since everyone understands russian there… thank you for the advice! 👍
@@jackisonthemap not everyone understands Russian. Like I understand some basic words and phrases but no much more than that. And I definetly cannot speak it. You probably now more Russian than me 😅. General rule I would say is that if a person looks older than 40 they will most likely understand Russian. But if younger than it's 50/50. Depends on where they grew up. Like, for example, for me, growing up I did not have any Russian speaking people around. My small town only had one Russian woman actually from Russia and she spoke Latvian to us. Closest city was Saldus. Probably there were some "Russians" there but you could never hear Russian in streets, stores... anywhere. Only Latvian and ocasionally Lithuanian 😅. So it is not that everyone understands Russian. And it is actually gonna be less people in the future. Some schools already have not been teaching Russian for years, but now after all the shit that Russia has done, government has finally decided to stop teaching Russian in all primary schools starting from 2026 I believe. They will allow to finish for the kids that have already started, but they have an option to drop it as well if they want and pick up another language that the school offers. So they can decide. But new kids will not get Russian as an option. So unless they have Russian speaking family or friends these kids will know zero Russian. Since also on the Latvian TV channels we don't have any Russian programs airing since war started in 2022. And more and more I see where in store and restaurants a person is starting to speak in Russian with the cashier and they answer and continue in Latvian or English (depending on the customer if they are Russian-Latvian or foreigner). In the past and still some of the older generation of Latvians "didn't have a spine" and would switch to Russian. Even if in a group of people there were 3 latvians and one Russian often you could see them speaking Russian to "accommodate". Probably a habit left from Soviet times when Latvians were oppressed. And that is a big reason why we know have bunch of old people who were born in Latvia and have lived here for 70 years but does not know any Latvian and refuse to learn it. We view it as pure disrespect. And most of these stubborn Russians still support Putin (of course not all but many). We hate any associations with the terrorist state Russia

Great review! Just one thing, you keep saying something in russian, for a Latvian person, it looks so touristy, stupid and unnecessary, especially when you want to say "thank you" :) ohh boy, it is a bit rude even. Latvian people are not russians at all, Latvian people have a looooooot of questions, to put it mildly, to russians. So, in these parts of Europe, you want to be friendly or polite etc, don't try to speak russian, especially after russia attacked Ukraine.
Politics aside I have Latvian friends and they all speak russian more so I was just making the effort!
