    Expect to learn how to make genuine change in your life, why we get addicted to thinking negative thoughts, the wild new studies showing the effects of Joe's work, how to get more comfortable facing the unknown, the many ways our memories lie to us, how to stop being a victim of life, the most powerful techniques you can use to self-regulate and much more...

      @ChrisWillx are you onto Dr. Tara Swart already? Neuroscientist and psychiatrist trained at Oxford and is a senior lecturer at MIT Sloan (for the naysayers who think it's all woowoo). Maybe you've already found her book The Source? Fascinating research on the power of thought, gratitude, taking action towards goals, motivation, etc. (the Source in her definition being the brain).. anyway you're probably already aware of her since she does other big pods like yours- Jay Shetty n such.. would be very cool to hear your take on conversation with her one day ✨

    It's awesome how he stays so poised when he has to say the same thing over and over. Thank goodness he does this for us because ultimately the more he repeats it the more we can understand it! Also, the way he can sit there and talk for 3 straight hours on the same subject and not fumble over any information or say the same thing twice is really impressive. Man oh man, Joe Dispenza impresses the shit out of me. I appreciate him so much.

    It took me over a year, too, to "discipline myself" to meditate first thing in the morning which for me was really something I felt like I needed to master after 15 years of grieving for the loss of my late husband, Joe, and my son, David, 8 months later. I got addicted to feeling sad and feeling like I could never experience true joy again. I couldn't even imagine a future. I've been self-disciplining myself since I was 9 years old (at least 57 years), but there was always "some reason to not feel good enough" ... the songs I play in my mind without even thinking about it. Anyway, I am finally getting there though (meditating when I first wake up). I am finally emerging from the abyss of grief somewhat, but those feelings will always creep up on birthdays, and holidays and other special days. It is not the end of the World anymore, though. That is a huge miracle for me. Thank you, Dr. Joe.

    I witnessed a man who was a tall man, but stooped over due to a broken back from 10+ years prior (skydiving accident). In one meditation, he healed, he heard his back crunching around and after that, stood tall and straight.
    Previously, he was bent over like at a 90 degree angle!! I’ll never forget that. That was 2019, I think. Last year, I saw a woman who was so near death get out of a wheelchair as a healthy, vibrant person. It was hard to believe she was ever sick.
    My confirmed celiac disease is completely gone. I had it diagnosed by biopsy of a rash that has 100% specificity to celiac disease. The rash is called dermatitis herpetiformis on the scalp. GONE. I’ve been doing this work since 2017 and my results did not happen fast. I can tell you I will never stop doing this work. It has been the greatest gift and miracle in my own life. Dr. Joe is a great treasure and such a humble kind and loving person.

    Most people misunderstand Dr. Joe, thinking he teaches the law of attraction. A key message from his work is the practical science of change. It's about breaking free from your oldself and the emotions you're addicted to, and creating the future version of yourself that you wish to become. It took me a while to fully understand his message.
    You can change your beliefs and habits, and transform into a new identity by appliying these principles. Just like quitting smoking by embodying the identity of a non-smoker. The disease, stress, unworthiness, limiting beliefs and anxiety no longer exist in the new person. The healing happens by default. That's why those who go through this work can create wealth, health and the relationships they desire relatively easier. Dr. Joe Dispenza will go down in history as one of the most effective pioneers in this field.

      He essentially does teach it. He just doesn't use the term because it'll turn people away. "Demystifying the mystical" as he says. Shifting realities is exactly "the practical science of change". Dr. Joe is who led me to other spiritual teachers like Wayne Dyer and Neville Goddard.

    • @DanielBarberMusic
      @DanielBarberMusic 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +21

      I don’t see any inconsistency between what Joe says and what people call the Law of Attraction. He’s just talking about how the mechanics of it works in our circuitry. Those of us who want to “know things” before going into the “unknown” can feel more confidence doing this because he makes the unknown something that feels less scary. The effect of what he’s saying is that we feel better, we nurture a different vibration, and things “happen” to us that we want. He comes to this, for example, at 9:30.

    That Gamma state Joe is speaking about at 56mins is spot on. I've been meditating since 2019, I was one of those people who used to think meditation was absolute bullsh*t but now I know differently. It can't be intellectualised, you can only experience it for yourself by actually doing it. In all the years I have been meditating I have only hit that Gamma state once, it was hands down one of the most amazing things I have ever experienced. It felt like I was in the centre of the sun and I had such a feeling of the purest sense of love and bliss that I didn't want it to ever end.

    • @davidkennedytraining
      @davidkennedytraining 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +44

      @@PolishPocahontassI didn't go with the intention of doing it, it just happened as a byproduct of dropping down from Beta into the Alpha and Theta brainwave levels during meditation. Because of consistent practicing and repitition I can recognise when I am dropping down into those slower brainwave states. My understanding is if you chase it, it means you are forcing it, forcing it won't work, you have to allow it to happen, for me it just happened. However, Joe Dispenza does have a breath technique that he describes in his book 'Becoming Supernatural' where if you breathe in a certain manner it draws fluid up the spine into the brain in order to trigger the pineal gland and facilitate the Gamma state, I've tried it many times and it helps me drop into lower levels but as of yet I haven't hit the highs I experienced before. There are videos on TH-cam describing how to do it, just type Joe Dispenza Breath and it should give you a result 👍🙂

    Listened to this on Spotify and now hitting again on TH-cam. Dr. Joe Dispenza saved my life when I first heard him on Ed Mylett 5 years ago. When he said "Your personality creates your personal reality, and to change your personal reality you need to change your personality" awoke the life inside of me. 5 years of hard work to reframe my demons into angels and I'm grateful you're interviewing him helping give others more insight into what's possible within. Only recently did I allow the full potential to be unleashed (still dealing with unintentionally caging the beast, but as he says "how many times do you need to forget before you remember.")
    Thank you Chris for giving me additional insight and wisdom as well as introducing me to Alex Hermozi through your interviews. Thank you very much mate. I'll see you soon

    • @radrazor1355
      @radrazor1355 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      @erickt9415 i haven't necessarily found a video of him explaining it, I've just devoured enough of his content through other podcasts to fully understand what he means. He states that when we change how we think, we change how we feel. Just becoming conscious of our unconscious thoughts and actions is what drives change of our personal reality because we become a different person and have a different personality because of it. It's hard to be the same person if you're not doing the same thing.
      What I havee experienced; if I wasn't experiencing change, it's because I was doing something the same, whether big or small. That's what kept me linked to my past self.
      Everything new comes from the unknown, or from the known that was once unknown. A lot of his speak sounds like a giant roundabout, almost circular logic that plays off one another. But that's the only way to be explained until you experience it yourself. Because it is hard to forget once you experience because you'll remember; and go "oh yeah, I'm doing this old thing..".

      @@erickt9415 He talks about it a lot. I started meditating to clips of Joe in 2019 after a total break down.
      Primarily the clip from Fearless Soul with Tom Bilyeu to start. Once in the morning after getting up and once at night before bed like he recommends.
      Completely changed my life/personality/personal reality. Doing it while listening to him explain it made it easier for me until I got my bearings and it became like a software program.
      Any podcast episode or "motivational clip" put out by a fan of his is great. It's repetitive but repetition installs the neural circuits in the brain and hardwires it when you review it over and over again.
      I like to listen to the same interview and clip repeatedly and its always fun to hear the same message a slightly different but mostlt same way.
      Listening to this Modern Wisdom podcast episode is like a refresher. Joe's passion for what he does is infectious.
      He's right when he says we are lucky to have this information at our fingertips because we didnt have it so easily accessible 20 years ago. That's for sure.

    I’ve watched dozens of Dr Joe interviews and this is by far the best. I love Joe but he often repeats the same lines in each interview which isn’t his fault it’s more of a reflection of the interviewer not asking specific enough questions. Chris asks him in depth pointed questions that made Dr Joe go deeper and elaborate on things we haven’t heard him speak on before.

    I've been doing his meditations for about a year and a half now after reading his book 'becoming supernatural' and I believe it's something you have to do to believe.
    I have had very powerful experiences whilst meditating in the way he describes 'becoming seperate from your body and one with everything'.
    I have also changed my external environment and have had many great new experiences which have came to me unusual ways. Some people call this 'synchronicity'.
    Anywho I am aware he looks arkward when he's trying to explain himself and it does make him look unbelievable at times.
    All I'm saying is do the internal work he talks about and decide for yourself whether you think these case studies could be true. Don't just bash it because he doesn't have a scientific verified badge from global health. 👍

You have to catch yourself when you hear yourself say for ex, "It's so hard to not drink." It's amazing when we continue talking and they say something...I say, "language" and they say, "Oh wow, I see what you mean."...I always include Dr. Joe Dispenza and others as additional resources. First off thanks for asking some harder questions to Dr Joe than I have seen on other podcasts, I also love the transition from day to evening which changes the tone of the conversation.
    Sadly try as I might I just can't get on with Dr Joe, every fibre in my being says don't trust him, the evasive soft overly florid coercive language sets my teeth on edge and to my ears always comes across as part guru/politician . In theory he should be right up my street as far as the direction he takes in his research and implementation but there is just a hard NO in my subconscious to him.
    Well done Chris in getting him on and if he helps people great.

I have had a really hard time getting on board with his program even though it has proven to be beneficial for so many people (based on testimonials). When I heard that the “tall beings” started showing up at his workshops, I tuned out. I am normally pretty curious/open-minded, but I feel there’s something “off” about Joe Dispenza’s public persona and stage show. I can’t get a read on him. I haven’t listened to this particular interview yet. Very glad to hear that Chris asks some harder questions. I want to be proven wrong! Perhaps reading his books might be a better fit for me. Like he says himself, “it’s not me saying this, the data is saying it” he has countless of studies proving what he does is the truth. Dr Joe is demystifying the mystical and teaching us in a way that’s not based on culture or religion but on science and data to back it up. I wish you the best in your journey. 😁

      Allowing ourselves to be open to this type of information and really look into it for ourselves will potentially shift our entire paradigm in tremendous ways which also means that the version of our self as we currently know them has to die in someway so when we are faced with that potential extensional threat we subconsciously come up with reasons to discredit and write off that information so we don't have to seriously take a look at it and ourselves and our current understanding of the world and how it works can remain in tact.

      Why? Not necessary.. if you want to find out if it works just try it out yourself. Dr Joe has the stats, studies, and proven system to back up his work. No need for someone else to come in and try to give their “take” on it. That’s one problem with humans, we don’t even ant to try to see if something works; we just want to listen to someone tell us wether it “works” or not but we don’t even try any of it ourselves.
      Huberman is a good man and I’m sure his intentions are good, but most of what he does is just research stuff and rehashes it on his podcast.
      Dr Joe has been putting his entire life into actually researching, studying, practicing and teaching what he has discovered. All the research and results are already there. You’re either interested in trying it or not. Simple.

I've been aware of his work for a while now but was always skeptical because of the lack of peer reviewed papers and support from the scientific community, but a lot of what he says about the process of thoughts and emotions fundamentally makes sense. I would love that too! I’m a fan of both and been to 2 Dr. Joe events and kicked a walking cane 15 days after my first one. In an old Mindvalley talk, I recall Dr. Huberman mentioning wanting to bridge the gap between ancient wisdom like chakras and the neurobiology the correlates with those energy centers. Dr. Joe has done that very well as he’s measured those centers at events and even made it clear that he never refers to them as “chakras” at events because the connotation tends to divide an audience and refers to them as “centers of energy and information” and even “mini brains” as there are a plexus of neurons in each center within the body. “Blessing of the Energy Centers” is the meditation series-I highly recommend experimenting with that and seeing how you feel. One thing to theoretically understand these concepts and another to experience it yourself! Say that to say-I would love to see that conversation!😁🙌🏾⚡️

Science is a valuable tool, but we place far too much value on what a group of people in white coats who arent perfect themselves say, just do it... look at this comments section, look at the testimonials on his TH-cam channel, you already feel he 'fundamentally makes sense'... just do it mate, stop holding yourself back...

    I am just blown away! I had a dream where I was sitting on a couch with you, Dr. Joe on the same day this was posted! 😮 it’s no accident that this just started playing automatically today after I was listening to Dr. Hibernan! I’m only a few minutes in but I know there’s got to be something here for me. So, thank you in advance ❤❤❤

      Where do I start? I’ve been meditating but studying more of the spiritual side of healing. So amazing how it all goes together!

    Today, in a few minutes, I was able to change from the self-judgment of not having to the feeling of gratification of already having. There is a new sensation in the back of my throat that is relaxed and open. I will not forget this moment, am sure I'll be needing to recall it often in order to establish this as hard wiring in my brain.

    I am very glad that I still contemplate. After all said and done I ended up with Dr. Joe Dispenza. Listening to this pod cast is a big help. It's a process. The only thing that's frustrating is that I couldn't get to the group energy practice. Red tapes. But, I will get there. The books & the TH-cam lectures are priming up to the group energy synagy.

    I have a much better answer for "Why is it So Hard to Make Changes in Our Lives?" It is because we live in a world that is not meant for us. Here is what I mean. The world that is meant for us is the world in which there is only 1 supreme law by which every single human is judged: "Do only that, which would be acceptable to all mankind." However, given that we live in a world, in which we are judged by the law, "Do that, which you want and which is not explicitly prohibited by law," or simplified, "Do that, which you want and can do," it follows that we live in a world that is not meant for us. And since we live in a world that is not meant for us, we lack the moral compass. And as a result, our judgment is impaired because we personally can't determine what is right and what is wrong. We rely on the law and the lawmakers to know what is right and what is wrong but they are not often writing rules with our interests in mind.

    Amazing podcast. The natural lighting to go from light to dark from start to finish - is like a metaphor for transcendence

    This was such a great interview! I had so many AHAs as I have been having “moments” in mediation which I do before bed every night. I look forward to that time every night as the “moments” are becoming more and more vivid, and mailable.

    I was trying to understand what he is teaching and change my life.. unfortunately I was not able to do it and I was going through cycle believing, get angry and giving up and than starting again. Sometimes I was thinking if I am cursed and was not able to understand why I’m not able like other people just jump into a new reality .. may be i was not able to let it go and like other people do not chase and do not wait as it’s for me very hard so now after 5 years trying I just listening Joe as just his voice calming down and hoping that one day I can get it

    I love how he can talk about what he does for 17 minutes without mentioning meditation. Loosens you up with the foreplay of neuroscience and behavior change.
    Meditation isn't just for spiritual hippies! Thank you Joe
