Sidequest Expo, formally PRGE Video Game Swap Meet, was a GREAT time to be had by all. It's a great way for so many of us to get together and hang out for the weekend in beautiful (and sometimes weird) Portland, Oregon. Here's a look at what I saw, what I grabbed, what I ate, and where I went.

Glad to see PRGE is still active and around, I'm was born and raised in Portland, OR and used to work at Game Trader at Mall 205 from 96-04. I moved away in 2004, and I go back every year to see my family and friends, I used to go to Lloyd Center all the time to visit one of my old bosses that owned a photo store, there who used to be my boss at Game Trader, in the years of going there to visit him between 2015-2018 I could see a major decline in the businesses closing down, and shutting down for good, due to the crime and poverty around that area, it's really sad to see that, I always enjoyed going to Lloyd Center to pick games at the old Software Etc. And then going up the second floor to grab some good food at the food court. The good old days are long gone from there now.
It really is sad to see things change for the worse.

I use to bring my 3DS with me everywhere back in the day. Made my bag a little heavy, but the streetpasses made it worth it.

Tonya might have practiced at Loyd center, but I use to see her all the time at the clackamas town center rink. I hung out there a ton in the eighties and nineties
interesting how the 2D S became a collectors item. I had the chance to get one, and never did. Good to see that you try and give the non-scalpers a chance to own this stuff.

That booth that had Felix the Cat on top, I was able to find Space Mega Force, Nosferatu and Ninja Warriors all buried in there. He had a ton of great stuff but you had to dig quite a bit.
Ive never seen that one handed 'rpg' controller. Actually kinda makes a lot of sense, have a free hand to go through your strategy guide and notes with.

Our local mall is being demolished finally. Pretty sad. I remember playing in the arcade all the time and playing in Madden tournaments there. There was a movie theater and a sweet card shop. KayBee Toys come on! I met Road Dogg and B.A. Billy Gunn there when I was in middle school. Good times!
