If I put the brush vertically in the Muhle shave bowl full of water, I'm wondering if the brush knot are completely submerged, or if there are any parts that are not submerged.
And how big is your shaving brush knot size?

I've been using this very soap for several months now and I must say the only thing that I enjoy about it is the smell.
The puck itself was dry as a rock, straight out of the packaging, so I had to grind it into a bowl to get any acceptable lather. The slickness it provides is basically none, compared to the simple Nivea canned product.
Their blades are also quite dull and for someone with sensitive skin and strong beard, I wouldn't recommend them.
The razor, however, is top notch. I am very happy with my Mühle razor!
Thank you for the video and best wishes,
    Luka

Sorry to hear about your experince with that soap. I don't have it anymore and not shaved with it since I did the video. I recall it was a very good slickness only of you had the lather on the wet side. To dry and there were not a good slickness. Thanks for watching and commenting.

Muhle & Markur blades are Personna so incredibly sharp and very high quality, only Feather are sharper. Just tried out the soap and yeah it was a dry puck but no problem lathering up, no offense but maybe a little experience is needed for tackling stubborn soaps, I had a problem with my first, it hated water full stop lol

I have been using this Muhle soap in a shaving mug for about 3 months now. I do not transfer to a bowl. And as Johnny said, it performs better when the lather is wetter. I have no problem getting a great lather and some of my best shaves have been with this soap.

nav m I like Muhle cause its all natural. I found that TOBS give me a little burning sensation on my neck. Also Muhle give slick good lather 👍 I might try that one you have some day. The sandalwood I have is very mild but pleasent in the scent. Just want to try another er brand as well first

I have not tried Muhle soaps, but they make my favourite razor (the r41 second gen.) and also their blades are good.
Probably I will try their orange label soap in the future.
    Good video👍

      Raoul C. Thank you sir😃
Yes you will not regret buying their soaps. Natural ingridients care for a irritating free shave. Also easy to lather and with good slickness👌
      Thanks for watching

Thank you for the nice video! How did you fit your soap like that into the bowl? I just bought the same from Mühle but the soap is smaller and moves around a lot.

    How many shaves soap last?

    • @johnny67a
      @johnny67a  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Don't know. I gave it away after a few shaves. It was very hard soap so I think it last for a long time
