Here is a dose of reality for those not so versed on this PM. Canadians have gotten poorer under Justin Trudeau. GDP per capita is now 7% lower than it should be, meaning Canadians are poorer by $4,200 per person. Trudeau’s inflationary spending and taxes have contributed to a decline in the Canadian economy. Real GDP per capita has now fallen in five of the past six quarters and is currently near levels observed in 2017. On top of this, since 2015 there has been a 20% decline in investment spending per worker, as the Canadian economy becomes less and less productive. Statistics Canada notes that this is, in part, thanks to declining competition in the Canadian economy after nine years of Justin Trudeau. This report was also confirmed by RBC Economics who said that “the Canadian economy is sharply underperforming global peers.” In fact, since 2019, Canadian GDP per capita has declined 2.8%, while the United States has seen an increase of 7%. RBC notes that this is the single largest underperformance of the Canadian economy in comparison to the United States since 1965.
The world has gotten poorer due to global plague that we're still recovering from. Electing a guy who's Trump without the charm wouldn't be helpful at this point. Trudeau is the best choice for now.

Justin tried to bring his teaching to play. Americans feel they know Canada because we are similar. Just think… we have the longest undefended border in the world. And I don’t think citizens on either side are losing sleep over it. 😂👍🏻
Your border is defended. You don’t think there are any checkpoints?

Nope, u just lose it because house prices have more than doubled over the last 4 years, and interest rates have tripled, but you will still will lose your house here

@@TheRealBatCave Actually I own a home in Atlantic Canada and my home and property did not double in value. @thelight5384 I've always been liberal but will absolutely not be voting for Trudeau. It's unfortunate more Canadians don't pay more attention to their own politics... if you were a little more informed you'd likely think the same
I live in North Dakota. Every weekend, carloads of Canadians drive down here to shop, filling our hotels. In a 48-hour time period, each Canadian is allowed to spend $800 in the USA. And they do! Canadians load up their shopping carts with breakfast cereal, chicken, cheese, coffee and tea, shoes, clothing, bras, DIY supplies (shingles, paint, windows, gardening tools), small appliances, etc. Why? Because our prices in North Dakota are 30 to 50 % less expensive than in the province of Manitoba. And unlike Manitoba, we don't have a 13 % tax on everything. Canadians also come down here for faster (but much more expensive) medical treatment. They come down here for less expensive eyeglasses, as well.
We cross border shop because taxation makes everything unaffordable in Canada.
Except NO ONE in Manitoba has ever gone BANKRUPT trying to get a heart surgery, or an organ transplant or even getting insulin
This is probably the most true post on here so far. You are 100% spot on about everything. Last time I went shopping in Washington, I got close to double the amount of groceries for my money. As for health care, yeah, if I had the money I'd be crossing the border and paying privately in the US. The problem is, we're being kept too poor not to need universal health care. Every aspect of just living has an insane cost here in Canada
So true
