Apart from slow motion , One more speciality of this song is that music director Vijayabhaskar used a special Russian instrument called "Ulikili" to suit to slow motion. That was the creativity of our Kannada music directors at that time. Hat's off to the entire team.
Sadly, none of that is true, my friend. First of all, there is no instrument called 'Ulikili'. However, there is an instrument called 'Ukulele', which was introduced, not by Russians, but by the Portuguese and that too, in Hawaii. Second, the opening intro / melody for this song is copied from Cliff Richard's song "Evergreen Tree". The song uses a mouth organ, but Vijayabhaskar could not reproduce that exact sound, so he synthesised it using the 'Pungi' (snake charmer's pipes). Third, the slow motion effect in commercial cinema was first used by Akira Kurosawa in his film Seven Samurai (1954). And the cinematography for the song was by Chittibabu, and he himself in an old interview admitted being impressed by foreign cinema for the slow-motion idea. Look, this is still a beautiful song, a great film, and being a Kannadiga, i love Kannada films and culture, but we should not fool ourselves or the people by claiming originality for our ideas or our creativity. If an idea was taken or inspired from somewhere, then no harm in honestly saying so.

Further I have never said this is the first slow motion song in the world. It is the first slow motion song in India where regular speed and slow motion are combined . First slow motion is used in Hindi film " Lak mo ek" starring Mehmood, but ther slow motion is used in patches. Yes , the prelude of this song is influenced by " Ever green tree" song, which music director VIjay Bhaskar himself has also told in one interview.

The Associate Music director for all Vijayabhaskar team was Giriappa , who was main person behind all songs composed by Vijayabhaskar from 1961 to 1978. Giriappa's son was legendary cartoonist B V Ramamurthy of Deccan Herald , the creator of Mr. Citizen cartoon series. Salute to Mr. Giriappa , for all his contributions to the film music. Nice song , lilting melody .. hats off to all of them .
Welcome Mr. Rao, Mr Giriappa got a foreign instrument from Germany and I think that instrument was used in this composition. After the demise of Giriappa in 1978, Vijaya Bhaskar compositions drastically reduced and then later on teamed up with Puttanna Kanagal in 1984 for Manasa Sarovara. I have a picture of Giriappa with harmonium where Mysuru Ananthaswamy is also there. Good old memories .

First time in the Indian film history slow motion camera used. Thats the creative of Kannada industry in 70's , 80's and 90's. After we miss Shankar Nag in early 90's and Dr. Raj moving away from doing films we lost the grip on industry. Vishnu sir contributed lot but cheap directors like S Narayan, ravichandran, Omprakash rao made us industry like this. But we are back to track again with the efforts of young brains.
Tejo Prakash Kannada film land continuously produced very good movies. Some dirty people have given bad name to it .Even today it is a CONTENT driven Industry unlike Bollywood, Tamil and Telugu film industries which are market driven .We have produced many superb movies with small/medium budgets and many of them ran for years and made crores . Otherwise Kannada film land would not have survived and come to this stage. Hats off to KANNADA film land which is rocking despite competition from 5 languages.

Further I have never said this is the first slow motion song in the world. It is the first slow motion song in India where regular speed and slow motion are combined . First slow motion is used in Hindi film " Lak mo ek" starring Mehmood, but ther slow motion is used in patches.

The Associate Music director for all Vijayabhaskar team was Giriappa , who was main person behind all songs composed by Vijayabhaskar from 1961 to 1978. Giriappa's son was legendary cartoonist B V Ramamurthy of Deccan Herald , the creator of Mr. Citizen cartoon series. Salute to Mr. Giriappa , for all his contributions to the film music. Nice song , lilting melody .. hats off to all of them .

Welcome Mr. Rao, Mr Giriappa got a foreign instrument from Germany and I think that instrument was used in this composition. After the demise of Giriappa in 1978, Vijaya Bhaskar compositions drastically reduced and then later on teamed up with Puttanna Kanagal in 1984 for Manasa Sarovara. I have a picture of Giriappa with harmonium where Mysuru Ananthaswamy is also there. Good old memories .

First time in the Indian film history slow motion camera used. Thats the creative of Kannada industry in 70's , 80's and 90's. After we miss Shankar Nag in early 90's and Dr. Raj moving away from doing films we lost the grip on industry. Vishnu sir contributed lot but cheap directors like S Narayan, ravichandran, Omprakash rao made us industry like this. But we are back to track again with the efforts of young brains.
Tejo Prakash Kannada film land continuously produced very good movies. Some dirty people have given bad name to it .Even today it is a CONTENT driven Industry unlike Bollywood, Tamil and Telugu film industries which are market driven .We have produced many superb movies with small/medium budgets and many of them ran for years and made crores . Otherwise Kannada film land would not have survived and come to this stage. Hats off to KANNADA film land which is rocking despite competition from 5 languages.

He only Acted, that too mostly in remake films. He earned from Kannadigas but produced 4 Hindi films on partnership to shine in Bollywood. But he did not produced any Kannada movie. He could have produced many kannada films and given chance to many Kannada artistes which Raj family, Dwarakish, Ravichandran, Rajendra Singh Babu, Kashinath etc. did.
