- Practising for war, British Army Wildcats and Apaches are in Germany where the skills of more than 400 UK troops under being put under the spotlight.
They are being tested to see how well they can integrate with their American counterparts on Exercise Sabre Junction - a highly realistic warfighting training exercise.
After the conflict in Ukraine began in February 2022, the scale of the exercise increased, and now thousands of troops from across Nato are taking part, facing an opposing force in the training area who are getting ready to throw everything at them.

Can't count many times our Apaches and Cobras saving our behinds in Afghanistan and Iraq. Them Autocannons and Hydra 70 rockets are deadly
We dont speak the same language
and certainly not in Wartime..
Basically an over armed Bradley in the sky
Cool to see that Herc. sport D Day stripes and the 1943 WWII USAAF insignia.
👍👍...yeah, I spotted that too pal!!..awesome paint job!!...nice to see!👌😁🇬🇧🇺🇲✈️
Green on mucker!! From a oldswet my self an ex'service AB ALL THE WAY BROTHER from the U.K.
Beautiful country.
Thank you so much for this insight into the Sabre exercise.Great to the the professional cohesion between the US and UK forces.
It’s the British 🇬🇧 that say if it aant raining it aant training!!! For at least 40 years + 🤔🥴🫣🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄
Let’s agree to disagree 😂
And the rest
Yes, surely it's only you that has command on the English language.....???
@@frank-ko6de Did I say that?
@@glennj6465 I merely replied to your nonsense with more nonsense. Ridiculous debut triggered nonsense.
Excellent & very interesting report Sian. ❤
Awesomeness abounds , great video
Brothers 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Brilliant! God Bless and thank you for all you do!
Seems strange to see british soldiers unshaven.
Perhaps, they're too busy fighting to worry about facial grooming?...???
Wonder if a Recon Spec Wildcat will ever try to break the Lynx's Speed Record?
I found this Old Medal barr'd Alma and Sebastopol.
Helicopters bunched together.
Troops getting briefed in the open air.
Walking down the road in close formation.
No face camouflage in woodland.
A bit sloppy lads 😉
Great observations, armed chaired commander....????
I wonder if Mr V Putin is watching all of this and how we fight !!
Nobody cares. He has nothing to fight with with or match up. He can watch this tiny little snippet all he wants, along with with what he spies on.
Nothing in this clip is secret
Is camouflage pretty much redundant with thermal imaging now?
I hope I live long enough to see all the movies from this war. "The Platoon" For 2036.
This looked like few lessons from Ukraine have been learnt.
why is taipei CHINA 23rd PROVINCE of China NOT included in the military exercise? PROVINCE island eh......
I guess if nobody is firing back then your plan will work
While we can guess you have not a clue what nonsense you're talking about.
Ru okay sir 😊
Cam nets may make it difficult for a fixed wing aircraft to see at 10,000ft but not drones flying much lower. The battlefield has changed. Hardly seems worth the effort these days.
Honest question, why do people say "The Ukraine"? Would you say into The Germany or The Poland etc....no.
Because "The Ukraine" means the "border land". It goes back to the days when Poland-Lithuania and Russia were fighting for control over Ukraine centuries ago.
Come to China Sea
🤘🏼
Ultra-realistic as in they actually managed to take off the ground? Fascinating stuff…
Oh yeah, cause the logistics, planning, working together does not take perfection. Would you not rather them be the best, than just be good. Very stupid comment.
For what?

The UK army is a joke today & goodbye from our family traditions let alone regimental. A career soldier and my regiment were thrown in the bin like rubbish Uncles, father and both brother now these people lol. Jog on the circuit pays and cares a lot more.
ultra realistic?? you joking.. How about training them keep that equipment safe and how to deal with drones.
They do that... you want them to spend 24/7 doing that? And then not do anything else?
@@EnglishScripter Indeed, Not something that would be practiced with the Media around either.
has Ukraine not shown that peer to peer the days of the Helicopter gunship is over when every bush can contain a 5km+ MANPAD
What are you talking about about ????? The Ukraine hasn’t and unfortunately isn’t using NATO doctrine NATO forces wouldn’t deploying unsupported armour which the Ukraine are doing and further to that wouldn’t be sending unsupported anti armour helicopters in battle either but as you clearly know what your talking about please enlighten us with your keyboard warrior battle plan 👏 👏
@d-rob5513
Exactly. Neither combatant in the current war uses combined arms tactics even remotely comparable to NATO. They are night and day.
@@d-rob5513 look at the loss data for both sides helicopters are sitting ducks for MANPADS designed to take out jets, going low may defend you from the area defense but it brings you into the MANPAD range
@@graveperil2169both sides are using Russian / soviet tech. MI8’s and MI24’s don’t have the defensive sensor suits NATO aircraft have. Apaches feature a missile warning system that warns the pilot and launches chaff and flare if it detects a missile launch guided or not. The missile doesn’t even have to be aimed at them to trigger the system. Friendly or not. To my knowledge, and I’m sure someone will correct me if I’m incorrect, neither Ukraine or Russia have that kind of system.

Lost in Afghanistan
Lost in iraq
Come back claiming to be real hero's 😂😂😂😂😂🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡
And iraq is still filled with corruption and still in the stone age. If they wanted to the could destroy and retake it again with Supreme dominance but they are way more accurate and disciplined than Iraq forces .Don't forget they train in the arctic , forest, mountain, jungle, ocean with the most sophisticated weapons on the planet.
Come back when you've practiced your English language skills.
The ANA lost in Afghanistan, they were the ones in control of the operations since 2014
