- I’ve recently started experimenting with fluid painting by thinning the paint to a watery consistency, layering it on canvas, and adding silicone oil to create large, vibrant cells that look like colorful snowflakes. I hope you enjoy watching this process! I’ll be posting a new experiment every week-I’ve just stocked up on paints and canvases and can’t wait to share more. My usual ratio is 1 part paint, 1 part Floetrol, and water for thinning. For this project, I used Amsterdam and Liquitex paints. Stay tuned for more!
Thanks,
