PreMixed Paint Experiment - Purple SURPRISE 💜 WOW Amazing! Abstract Art

- I don't often use purple as a base color or pre-mixed paints but I am loving these pebeo paints and wanted to combine some cell activator to add some lacing detail and also use a sponge to create some texture and soft edges.

Today's Tutorial Information:
▶ Technique: Swipe and Sponge
▶ Color Palette: All paints are pre-mixed pouring paints by Pebeo. The colors I used include: Gold, Silver, Metallic Cobalt Blue, Turquoise Blue, Aqua Green, Light Violet, Metallic Purple, Deep Magenta, Ivory Black.
My cell activator is white titanium with Australian floetrol - 1:4
▶ Hair dryer: When I use a hair dryer I use the Remington D3010 and always use the cool setting and the lowest blow speed.

I love the colors you chose to use. I also like that the pre-mixed paints do have some gloss to them. I will have to look for them. I definitely want to try the sponge. It gave a great effect. Wow Mark.... such beautiful rich jewel tones!! I'm definitely wanting to get some of these paints. I really like the finish. I don't know about you... but for me when the predominantly purple and magenta is on top this kind of has a jeweled, late sunset seascape to me with the darker blue being the ocean and the colors reflected in the water and some buildings in the back. I really love this the more and more I look at it I'm seeing more. Thanks for sharing as always it's such a calming, peaceful, inspiring experience!🙏💜💙

That’s a delightful and gorgeous painting!!! The metallics popped and the gloss made to wonder about adding shifting micas to the premixed Pebeos on the surprise before swiping!

Beautiful piece, Mark! After you started to swipe, at first I thought it was gonna look boring, but the end result isn't boring at all. Lots of interesting details and the colour palette is perfectly chosen. I love how glossy those paints are. The painting is great the way it is, no need to varnish it in my opinion.

Congratulations Mark! Beautiful colour combination and lovely cells and shines from the metallic colours. Unfortunately here in Australia 🌏 I only have the tube paints from Pebeo. Not knowing much about Pebeo Paints, I was surprised at the shimmery dried results. And wow to your color choices. Amazing. Love it. I just have one silly question that will make you laugh. How in the world do you keep paint off your black t-shirts?😂

This is stunning hon, ok I dont have a cell activator so checked out the ol WD40 online, which i do have in the ol shed, and thought id spray a dab into the last colour i pour.
Any advice hon?
I know it does react but not tried it myself. What about silicone oil? Maybe mix in the WD40 and two short sprays (in one color?)
