If it is based on the RF2 engine, you can. The AI was 'trained' in rf2 for each track. You can really tell the difference in that game between tracks where effort was made to train the AI and where the AI was trained poorly. That said, RF2 has the justification of mod tracks making the AI look bad. Every track in this game is first party, so it should be spotless.
Here's my question, if they took this game over from Monster Games and the Heat games, then why didn't they keep some of the things that Nascar Heat had. Like cautions, stage racing.I just don't get it.

Also, it's pretty sad that SRX, a game that's half the price by the heat and Tony Stewart all american racing devs, career mode is even MORE in depth than heat 5. Making this look even worse. Did you guys know at the bottom of the screen where it shows the car numbers the more lines the farther they are from you and the less lines they are closer and no lines mean they are on your bumper.
I bought this game last week, did 1 Daytona 500, and was like "nope" and uninstalled it. What a piece of garbage this game is. If an AI car even breathes on you, you lose control of the car. Those aren't even realistic contact physics, they're just anti-player-friendly, and it's not fun at all. Reversing those physics wouldn't make for a realistic experience either, but it would at least be fun for us as the players, which is kind of important... Motorsport games really screwed this one up.

Change you're car setup a little the other way, I have mine set up almost exactly like yours, only difference is I have mine set to the first bubble on the tight side and TC on medium and don't spin out really unless another car causes it

The AI are just not smart. They don't know wreck avoidance or how to maneuver their way through traffic. So the fast cars get held up by slow cars easily.
I'm just here to point out that at RIR, the turn 4 party zone was called Climax Corner but was changed recently. I usually sit closer to start/finish, but gotta give a shout out to the hottest turn 4 party zone in NASCAR!

I think you should drop NASCAR 21 Ignition and focus your attention on NR2003 and Thunder 04. They have less than a year to release the next game. They're not fixing this one
I’d love to see Thunder 2004 soon! For your channel, it would probably make sense to start it in late November or early December, as that way the start is aligned close to when people go on winter break and when ad rates get better near Christmas. Although earlier would also be nice. People are definitely going to enjoy the Thunder 2004 series a-lot, and I’m excited for it!
I have to use medium steering assist most of the tracks. Most of the intermediates either glitch or I can't turn because of the assists. I simulate a lot of races and basically just race the road courses and short tracks, along with Darlington, Talladega, and Phoenix

Do we know if they are going to be fixing the lack of rearview mirrors in cockpit view on console? Or steering issues like the ability to navigate with a wheel and calibrate the wheel
you should do 25% races on NT2004 if you want to do something long, or even longer, do 50%. you can also do season mode where you can drive as anything and also customize the schedule. its really fun. theres also cheat codes for NT2004 that unlock only a few things.
I wish I could play the game without steering assists on PlayStation but my car naturally goes left without me turning left even with ABS and traction control.

NR2003, or F1 2021 would be awesome with Thunder 04. I finally found my self having fun with traction control on medium or high at a few places but it’s super enjoyable if they just fix cautions it’s a buy able game tbh
With Ignition’s issues maybe starting another series is a good idea instead of doing 21 daily. If not Thunder 2004 I’d like to see F1 2021.

If you run the same line as the AI at Richmond you do have to check up a little bit out of 3 and 4.

When it starts sliding when off throttle, it might actually help to give it a slight bit of throttle. Just a slight bit helps stabilize the car.
