Anymore full on Baja Bug builds coming down the pipeline? This question is for Toast, I consider myself a burrito connoisseur as well, what is the your favorite type and where from?
What’s the difference in weld time between the levels of builds? The raptor being level 1, any of the frame rail trucks being level 2, and the tube chassis trucks being level 3? I’m not a welder, but I know TIG welding takes the longest.

What uniballs do you use at the ends of your center-mount A-arms? FK com24, or wssx24t? Or do you go balls to the wall with Aurora or NHBB? Also, do you heat treat those A-arms? Thanks for the vids.
Every build is planned out and laid out by me. I am very picky about every detail. Once I give my guys an explanation of what I want they go from there
Beams back in early 2000’s when I built my ranger were the way to go for your guy on a budget. That seemed to be the main theme to whys used them and still do. Luxury back then in a prerunner did not exist, if you had hundreds of thousands in a truck back then it was a TT.
What’s the punishment for dipping a tungsten in the shop? Also, with all of those junctions to double pass weld, how do you make sure you don’t miss anything? Checksheet? Mark each tube after weld? Or are you just that awesome you just know?!?!?
It wasn't a trophy truck and it didn't do well haha Hopefully i never have to build only ev vehicles but if someone paid us for one then yes we would. I wouldn't build one for fun on our own tho.
Beams with spindles are superior to A arms and unit bearing designs. Although the ubiquity and costs sure outweigh the beams and spindles. I would rather break an A arm then have to replace a king pin any day.
