I agree for sure. It's so scary seeing him back there. It did seem like he was being careful like he basically just ran out of bounds on one but still it's scary and I don't want him back there.
Besides the Cowboys, I thoroughly dislike the Chiefs not just because of the ridiculous Swiftie coverage, but because Mahomes has a fourth quarter, first-down cheat code! He pretends to run out of bounds until he gets there, then rides the sidelines until he gets pushed out, then flops for a 15-yard roughing penalty. Every fourth quarter, if his team is behind, its always the same dam trick! He NEVER steps out. He just tricks the defense into letting him run. And run and run. After he finally gets gently pushed out, he cries. Every time. I can't stand him, honestly.
I agree! In middle school, every Monday morning my teachers would write the score on the chalkboard, as they were recruited from Minnesota. I couldn't stand Tarkenton and the purple people waters.
Jamo will get popped playing ST in this league. Goff should practice throwing a consistently precise deep ball to Jamo in stride. His speed is unmatched and by not playing ST, he can stay fresh.
I am in Chicago as I write this. I have listened to sport's radio hosts mock The Lions. Detroit Lions do not underestimate The Bears. They have a chip and something to prove😮 Whomever is chosen to return punts, etc. makes no difference to me. Just play a clean, honest and entertaining game, guys. 😊 to Detroit fans. Happy Thanksgiving.
A little interested in Mehki Wingo's status. He's one who was a 25+ snaps a game there for several weeks before his injury in week 9. And hasn't cracked double digits since. I know O'Connor has actually played well but it would be cool to see more Wingo if he's healthy. I love his jump off the line
What DC comment meant is Emanuel will be in some different look packages. He has played a lot of S and Nickel in practice helping the Offense for upcoming opponents.
If I had to pick one guy who is a game time decision to put in, it'd be Decker. Love the other two, but Goff was getting shook in that game against Houston when he was out. Hopefully we see all 3 of those guys play in some capacity today
One issue with Houston was his size. He isn't an NFL-sized edge. We typically only have two genuine linebackers in there - Jack Campbell and Rodrigo who're both tearing it up - so there's really nowhere for Houston as an edge who isn't a three-down player. And is one dimensional as was proven in camp when they wanted him to be SAM and he failed miserably at it.
Here’s another factor on defense….Jack Fox punts so that opponents have very long field to score He makes it almost impossible for a team to come back against the Lions because they have to go Soo far to get each score
Khaleel Dorsey back there for punt returns. Jamo has cat like reflexes on the quick twitch thing. He had the balls to do it as a junior in college I heard
Peoples Jones has proven to be a an excellent punt returner at Cleveland so what's the problem... James Houston is a stud when healthy. He's excellent on the pass rush...Letting him go is a huge mistake...Houston won't be without a job for more than a hot breath...you can count on that. His departure has to be on personal issues cause it sure as hell ain't about his play...
St. Brown can return, but ONLY FAIR CATCHES..... But Lions have to focus on Superbowl Championship.....if too many injuries, its hard to win. Focus on SMART PLAY. If we are up 20 pts. at half, take starters out.
I'd think Monty could do kick returns - he has pretty good hands and as was said he's like trying to tackle a bowling ball. Anzalone said he was glad the regular season started because he wouldn't be having to try to tackle him anymore.
I can tell that this guy hasn’t played sports at a high level. A competitor cannot simply turn it off. If St. Brown is receiving kicks, he’s definetly returning them.
Dan & Brad both know exactly what they have to work with, how to utilize it in the best most productive manner, AS WELL AS making certain a positive future for the Lions is not jeopardized.... ie: (minimizing risk of additional injuries) . Whomever will fill any positions required will be the best choice/option for the team & a Superbowl victory.
Chris C'mon Bro. You can't tell #14 to "not run". 😂 If he's back there you KNOW he's there to get every inch he can. It's in his nature. Most all of them, really.
Decker and Davis are rules out. Im not happy bout that. Should we still beat the Bears? Yes, but without our LT, and if Vildor is out there for even a little bit, that two MAJOR liabilities
why not just put vaki back there ... we still have craig reynolds as rb3 so .. vaki would make the most obvious choice .. well not soo obvious i guess, but thats my vote
I hate the packers the most because of all the times they ripped our hearts out going back to Favre. That and Reggie White signing with them in 93 instead of Detroit. Our history would have been totally different had he signed here. No on St Brown reurning punts.
That Colts game was a nice win, but you could tell the Lions might be getting a little tired of winning. They got beat up pretty bad in terms of injuries.
No don't use St Brown. And watch guys will fill this void in other ways. Dominate the brats. We will win again. It's our superb depth others step up and go all out. We're the best and it's staying
Yes, The Cowboys are my most hated team. I would say since Barry Sanders and that guy from Dallas that will not be named. But really, I don't hate Dallas players but I do hate whatever it is that makes all of those bad calls happen. My dream would be for Hutch to break one of Mahome's ribs. Not sure why, but that team gets more good calls/bad calls than Dallas. So, Dallas yes but KS is a hard yes too.
I hate the packers most but avery very close second is the Eagles I actually really like the Bears and Vikings. For so long it just felt like us 3 teams were bretheren in getting our asses handed to us by Rodgers
I’m gettin real antsy about these injuries now that we’re approaching the stretch. At some point it’s going to catch up with us. Yeah we’ll get most guys back for the playoffs but 100% chance we lose even more before then. Someone please talk be off the ledge.
What about vaki for punt returner
I like that ..he was serviceable in that role in college
Yes
Did he return punts in college? I have not found any stats or film of him.
I think everyone would be ok with this
Agreed
DO NOT USE SAINT AS A PUNT RETURNER!!!
*Jamo* was one of the best special teams' returners in college for all of the USA!
We have to have someone back there who will catch the rock . 💯
I agree it's too risky and he's too valuable
@@alldaynupe2310 Throw Allen Robinson back there then. Saint and Jamo are way too important to risk anything…. imo.
Agreed. Injury potential.
St Brown should not be returning any catches
I agree for sure. It's so scary seeing him back there. It did seem like he was being careful like he basically just ran out of bounds on one but still it's scary and I don't want him back there.
Vaki for kickoffs and punt returns
What about Craig Reynolds?
@
Absolutely, I almost forgot about him.
@@King_Me313I recommend no since he did drop 1 of the 2 returns he had last year
Thank you for commenting what I was thinking. No St. Brown for punt returns.
Same or Williams
I follow the lions from Staffordshire England 🏴 have done since Barry
No to St Brown returns but yes to fair catch
Injuries are a concern
I was in Kent 2 months ago, stayed up late for a couple of Lions games, great memories.
I love the support from afar
Maurice Alexander will get elevated. Very good return man.
Agreed.
Also knows the offense, and makes a decent replacement for Raymond.
Dorsey wtf he had a 45 yrd return with Raymond's returns
I hope they use Dorsey instead of Saint. He's not Raymond, but he's good enough
@@jonahlange7898 Dorsey is very fast

Detroit will have an out standing game!!!!
I hoping 35 lions bears 10, or else I'm in trouble.
I been saying since last week give Vaki a shot at returns
Maybe Craig Reynolds for punt returns.
The only team I hate is Minnesota. Growing up in the 60s and 70s I detested how Bud Grant and Fran Tarkenton always beat Detroit.
I agree. He always had a way of eluding the defense
I agree! In middle school, every Monday morning my teachers would write the score on the chalkboard, as they were recruited from Minnesota. I couldn't stand Tarkenton and the purple people waters.
They lost every game against the Vikings from 1968 to 1974, 13 straight.
Sewell could return some punts, its the lions you never know lol
I think Vaki should be the kick returner tomorrow.
Give Vaki a run at returns.
Vaki or Dorsey should return punts, makes no sense to throw ARSB back there
Maurice Alexander. Did all the preseason PR
@@RealTH-cam33 I did like him in the preseason, forgot they moved him up
Still hate the Cowboys the most, but the Packers were a close second when Rodgers was the QB.
No punt return for St. Brown until the playoffs if necessary. Or just fair catch the ball. Use Vaki, DPJ or Maurice Alexander is a good call. ☎️
They brought up Alexander, he will be pumped. Dude is smooth
Lions got this💪😤🦁
I would elevate Alexander to do all the kick and punt returns. He did a job when he did those. Perhaps sign another corner
Vildor is an elite athlete and while his man coverage ability is disappointing, having a guy with starting playoff experience as your CB 6 is not bad.
We got to have someone better than Vildor. He always seems to give up the big plays.
Jamo returned kicks and punts at Alabama
And was a monster
Jamo will get popped playing ST in this league. Goff should practice throwing a consistently precise deep ball to Jamo in stride. His speed is unmatched and by not playing ST, he can stay fresh.

D. Mont brought THE actual Knuckles to the game, he’s playing. 😂
J mo is built for a return man
Hmm....he's really slim and a light weight. I worry about his durability. He would get hurt returning kicks.
Jamo for PR
Vaki 👏🏿👏🏿

I used to say like the fan in the stand with the sign: My 2 fav teams are 1. LIONS, and 2. whoever is playing the bears
They elevated Maurice Alexander for punt return! 🦁🏈
What DC comment meant is Emanuel will be in some different look packages. He has played a lot of S and Nickel in practice helping the Offense for upcoming opponents.
Vaki could do kick returns.
We got Donavon Peoples Jones to use on Punts!!! Pull him off the Practice Squad NOW!!
My two favorite teams are the Lions and whoever is playing the cowboys.
Dorsey for punts. CB1 Arnold CB2 Amik CB3 Moseley CB4 Vildor/Dorsey mix…Vildor & Dorsey should not be out there without safety help. Sorry.
If I had to pick one guy who is a game time decision to put in, it'd be Decker. Love the other two, but Goff was getting shook in that game against Houston when he was out. Hopefully we see all 3 of those guys play in some capacity today
Fair catch only
THE GOD DAMN VIKINGS
Vikings for sure
Jamo should be returning punts. Fair catch everything unless there's a window.
I would definitely say St Brown would be returning if I wanted to make the enemy game plan for something needlessly and do the opposite 😊
Hate the Cheifs with a Passion
Vikings!
DPJ returned punts at Cass and Michigan and we don't even use him...but he's sure handed. USE DPJ 🤲🏾 I didn't even know he was still on the team!
He dropped one last year.
@RealTH-cam33 I don't recall that, but regardless I'd rather he muff a punt than St. Brown getting dropped. 🤷🏾♂️
@@DahBadGuy81 Maurice Alexander was our PR in the preseason and he’s sneaky good.

Put our rookie running back in To return ball's
You don't risk your franchise wide receiver returning punts! They have plenty of options on the roster.
Khaleel Dorsey back there for punt returns. Jamo has cat like reflexes on the quick twitch thing. He had the balls to do it as a junior in college I heard
It would be totally stupid to use The Sun God as a punt returner and jeopardize his heath. We have enough injuries... PLAY IT SAFE!!! 🤦🏾♂️
Just have him fair catch it!
Maybe Jamo should be on special teams again?
He was one of America's best!
He is too tiny. Would get hurt from these nfl size players.
Nah.
Packers and Cowboys Vikings and bears Seahawks buccaneers 49ers LA Rams in order
Amik has been our most consistent corner
I pray the Thanksgiving curse ends this year 🙏
I agree

Jamo returned punts at Bama and quite flashy I might add
He's too valuable as a Starter on Offense he did it in College but it's too Risky for us Now
